Who would you like to follow Mainieri as coach when he retires and why?

I’m just really curious what you guys are thinking.
Maineri is 60(I believe) and can’t coach forever.

Not that any of us has any say so, but who’s our next guy?

I like Tim Tadlock, but he's doing really good things at his alma mater, so that would be unlikely.

I like Greg Lovelady.

I like Cliff Godwin, but he's also at his alma mater.

I'd like to see what Tony Vitello does for a few years at Tennessee.

I would stay away from any former LSU players.

Blake Dean. He’ll have the experience by then, and realizes the expectations

Would you say Bianco is too old? Sully might be fed up with the support he gets from Florida by then too.

I do like Blake but maybe in 20 years and a couple trips to Omaha in his resume.

Tadlock is very impressive - three trips to CWS with Texas Tech

Godwin from ECU would be solid

I'm still not opposed to Cannizaro again, assuming all his issues get worked out
