Maineri is 60(I believe) and can’t coach forever.

It seems like baseball coaches hang around longer than the other sports.

And I'm not a fan of hiring the one year wonder coaches from such small conferences.

Gilmore is a little too old I think. Everyone LOVES saarloos, the pitching coach at TCU, but I think he’s going to hold out for Fullerton. He’s had a ton of overtures from big time programs and hasn’t so much entertained them.

If you believe Kendall Rogers, he turned down Stanford last year. Then he was a shoo-in at Rice this year ... til he wasn’t.

Oh, you mean the way he did just one freaking season ago?!

Top 3 as of today that's somewhat realistic
Tadlock
Goodwin
McDonnell

I'd throw big time money at Schlossnagle and Sully to see if they would bite

I also like Butch Thompson at Auburn and think we could get him

Lol at people saying Bianco - dude chokes more than anyone out there

Would want no part of that. Just like last year when people were falling all over the guy from Sam Houston. The fact that he’s a good dude is in no way a good reason to turn an sec or big 12 program over to him.

Deggs was an assistant at A&M previously though, so he's got big conference experience, unlike some of these small conference lifers.

But he's going to have to find the exact right fit when he makes the jump.

Too many candidates to mention. All we need is a guy with a losing record as a head coach that no one else wants to hire, so how hard could it be?

Speaking of assistants at A&M, what do you think of Bolt? Not as a replacement for CPM, but just in general.
