A younger clone of Skip.

We will have that technology by the time PM leaves.

Yes.

But Dan McDonald isn't. He may want to continue with what he's built at Louisville.

They're about to build him a new park, he's not leaving.

Blake Dean has done great things so far at UNO. His UNO team beat LSU 2 times last year and that should never happen.

I like Tadlock too. I think this being the job that it is, it might be the only place that can lure him away IF they don’t win anything before that time comes.

One guy I’ve liked for a while is Scott Berry. I think for what he has at usm, he’s done a great job...he gets some good talent in there.

I’d say no one does less with more.

I really like Tadlock, but getting him away from his alma mater might be a pipe dream.

I also think Coastal Carolina’s coach would be great, proving he can win big with a smaller school(they’ve become a regional-super regional regular).

I just wanted to hear some new names and see what other fans were thinking.

PM will coach til he is 70, imo. Who knows who LSU will want in 10 years.

Gilmore is a little too old I think. Everyone LOVES saarloos, the pitching coach at TCU, but I think he’s going to hold out for Fullerton. He’s had a ton of overtures from big time programs and hasn’t so much entertained them.

He's a strange guy, and I think he's really going to flame out as a HC.

I don’t really understand the fascination with him, personally. The D1 guys act like he’s the Golden goose every time a job opens up but aside from his recruiting prowess, I don’t see it. And you saying he’s a strange guy is definitely not the first time Ive heard that.

Tony Vitello was the guy that got the talent to TCU that took them to a bunch of CWS appearances. He's also the guy that recruited this current Arkansas team.

Time for Mainieri to go in my book. He will have a really good team next year and would need to make the finals in my opinion to keep his job if it were up to me. I do like the Texas Tech coach in a heartbeat.

Matt Bragga should get a look. TN Tech is one of the best coached teams I've seen in a while.

Mainieri is never going to get fired. It’s 100% never going to happen. Ever. Short of him executing someone on the mound during a game, this is his program for as long as he wants.
