The people who want Andy here blow my damn mind

It's very strange. The classes he brought in here have seen obscene amounts of attrition. He absolutely folded under the pressure of running the program at State. And, according to State players in an SI article, they didn't really get taught a hitting approach until after he was fired.

TCU coach does seem legit. I don’t know his background such as age and stuff though.

Louisville coach was a big deal a couple years ago and Skip said he was the best atm, but he signed a huge contract there.

I agree about making O’Sullivan say no, which he no doubt would baring something crazy.

I decided to look up Jim Schlossnagle and apparently he mentored Andy.
Makes sense given the Tulane connection.

Here’s an article about it LINK if anyone is interested.

Schlossnagle really is the truth and he’s only 47.

It's ridiculous. He came in with a class of upperclassmen providing the illusion of success. Got hired away, NEVER BEAT OUR CURRENT COACH then got fired for a lack of moral integrity.

But these cock holsters want to fire one of the most successful coaches in the country for a guy who couldn't beat him.

I would also like to chime in...

Mississippi St is losing Pilkington, Billingsley, France, Neff.

Andy recruited 7 pitchers in this cycle. 3 of them have already signed pro contracts and they lose their top SS who they were counting on arriving.

His ability to acquire and stockpile talent has not been very good thus far.

How about the manager of The Boston Red Sox, I'm sure this would be his Dream Job

Somehow I doubt that. I don't think he's dreaming about LSU in this picture:

Whoever takes that job is going to be scouring the JUCO ranks for guys. At least there are a ton of them in Mississippi. But they're going to have to reach on guys and get JUCO freshmen that may not have much track record. There isn't much left out there from the HS standpoint. Unless they can start picking up guys that get squeezed out of classes because of the way the draft went.

Being in the CWS as well as not having a coach decided they are late to the game.

All he did was bang a coed. I hate how we treat coaches like the should be some sort of moral compass. Maybe he should just not get married again and bang who her wants

He also lied to his boss, shirked his off field duties as a head coach, and literally avoided doing his job during games. Also, when he did do his job, he wasn't very good at it.

Stop with the obsession. It's time to admit that he just wasn't that good at his job.

AC will never be the head coach at LSU, so it’s pointless to even discuss his situation IMO in the context of LSU’s future.

Yeah it's pretty impressive what he has done as well. He's taken a team that never went to Omaha prior to what 3 trips now??

Seems like another solid coach. He is 49.
