So far, the vaccines have shown the ability to limit severity to a degree. As time goes on, that's probably going to disappear as well.

But, to answer your question, the OP is getting downvoted into oblivion because he's promoting something that many just don't want to hear...that LSU (in his opinion) probably isn't going to play this game. Right or wrong, I think it's a very reasonable position to take given what we are seeing in the NFL right now.

But, people simply don't want to hear it. So, they reject it. It's the same for the vaccine. There are a TON of people who are scared to death. And, they don't like the idea that the vaccine is only minimally effective and that the effectiveness is short lived. So, they reject it.

If you step back and watch how many people simply blindly reject uncomfortable truths, it explains how we are where we are as a society.

I guess I’m optimistic, but I think they’ll play and the young guys will show out.

Hoping they find a reason to not play. Coaches gone, players gone...I'm concerned that LSU is going to look like Miss St did the other night, with half their starters not playing. Nothing to gain and a lot of negatives imo.

Even if LSU plays the game and loses, at least they played unlike another SEC school. I want to see the Tigers play!

No offense to him but do you really wanna watch Kirkland play QB for 4 qtrs. You keep using the word 'prove' which leads me to believe that you're not a big science/research guy. Fair enough but you're wrong here. Data says you're wrong. And there are ways to demonstrate efficacy. I'm not a 'vaccinate everyone no matter what' guy but in most adult populations, getting vaccinated makes good sense.
