You’re just weak.

I think the real problem is BK's apparent inability to get his teams ready. Had no answer for Milroe last night. Did he really not consider that that was a likely possibility? The two FSU games also come to mind and the absolute travesty against OM.

This coaching staff is middling at best. Obviously the defense is perhaps the worst ever in program history. BK is struggling.

The fact that you don’t qualify this is fricking idiotic. The offensive staff has the second best unit in school history in year two, is recruiting better on OL than we’ve ever seen, has pulled the best WR in TX for next year’s class and is genuinely in it for the two best QBs in that class.

The defensive staff needs to go, but come the frick on.

OL, RB and TEs will be better - book it.
WR & QB - probably not, but they should develop. Hilton, Anderson and some talented rising SOs need to step up. Nuss will need to do the same.

DEF is hot garbage so it has no where to go, but up with a new DC.

As to BK’s hires, it’s the good ole buddy system, friends don’t let friends lose lucrative contracts because of incompetence.

ok good. Don't spin it.

I’m not. Having multiple highly rated recruits at your biggest position of need flip to other SEC schools is not good for a multi year rebuild project.

I hear you, but I was looking at the results from the W/L perspective. Also, LSU has often looked ill-prepared which is 100% on the head coach. Could having a guaranteed contract negatively affect how BK does his job? Asking for a friend.

I was responding to the fact that you lumped the entire staff into one bucket. You are up in your feelings and clearly have an ax to grind and want people to pat you on the back.

Kelly needs to fix the defensive staff. Other than that, most of your rant is over-emotional bullshite.

No. Do you think BK has had the team well-prepared every week? Or do you just make ad hominem attacks? Also, are not rants, by definition, over emotional? Finally, please point out the over emotional part for me.

Our Center can't even snap correctly under this coaching staff..Is this really a legit question?

Did you see the center get 3 procedural penalties last night??
It's not only the defense. Not by a long shot.

OP starts a thread asking for opinions and speculation, then uses that thread to express negative opinions and bitter speculation

LSU was up 28-21 in the 3rd in Tuscaloosa and BAMA made adjustments that LSU could not answer. A big part of those adjustments is the depth provided by a full roster of well coached 4 and 5 stars. Particularly on their OL and DL.

the best LSU offense and arguably the worst LSU defense was beating BAMA in the 3rd Qtr on the road until we collectively fell apart

I am wondering what more time, changes to the defensive staff, more stability and more depth will provide LSU going forward.

So far Brian Kelly has impressed me with what they have been able to do with a roster loaded with holes and very little depth.

the secondary wasnt a problem, the front seven was the problem, particularly LBs

I dont think House comes back, too much damage and too little return for the DC spend

the offense did all of the things we screamed for during the Les Miles era. we finally have a modern offense that can compete with Bama, yet we still bitch

some of you loaded with negativity need to go find somethng else to do with your saturdays.

the catastrophe syndrome is real

We’re honestly pretty fricked if you’re measuring success in terms of potential to play for championships. Kelly might not make the full 10 years.

Another 8-4 or 9-3 year with some of our fans saying "he needs at least 3 more years to get his players in".

If the team looks to be building toward a championship, then OK. Right now that does not appear to be the case.

Turner was bad last night, but last night was the first time we’ve seen anything like that or all the low snaps from him. Coaches can’t waive a wand from the sideline and make a senior who is normally reliable at those things stop fricking up. Players still have to execute, like Nabors dropping that last 4th down pass in his hands. Was that on the coaches, too?

Back to the OL, if you can’t see the overall development there over the last two seasons then it’s because you just don’t want to. They are not the fricking problem. The offense as a whole is not the problem. The offense was prepared just fine and had no problem moving the ball enough to win this game. It’s all one side of the ball.

right

that was the best DL we faced all year and BAMA targeted Turner as a weak link and attacked him. he faltered under pressure, shite happens on the big stage

Kelly has made all the right moves on the offensive side of the ball we are the best in the country. So next year let’s say we regress to top 20 offense in the country. We can still be good with a big defensive improvement without having the same offense. Problem lies with a combination of Matt House an Talent. Our DBs are not good and we have no depth to boot, then on top of that our LBs aren’t good not named Harold Perkins, accompany that with a terrible scheme and you get the shite sandwich we have this season. It isn’t just Matt House though, the DB an LB units both are not good. We need some big time recruits in those departments and a couple big time transfers. Alabama came into the game with 17th or so ranked defense and around 80th ranked offense. So obviously defense is more important than anything. So they need to get more talent an get another coach, period

I think we will definitely upgrade there next season with Chester stepping in after a full year in the program. Based on the progression of the rest of the OL, he should be a solid upgrade at the position over Turner.
