Who is the Mickey Mouse on the training staff that is terrified of cool weather?

I watched multiple games across college football yesterday and last night where the weather was below 40. Only one team made it a “big deal” and had hot chocolate like they were Santa Claus and his merry little elves. And that was lsu

Every other team was completely normal like they should be because 35-40 degrees without rain or gale winds isn’t that cold for sports.

Considering we have done the hot chocolate and broth for multiple coaching staffs, this tells me it’s a trainer that has been on multiple staffs making this decision.

So, you saw the sidelines of every single other game in those conditions and what they were offering to drink?

Also, why are you the way you are?

I don't see why the broth thing is a big deal.

I get the hot chocolate being made fun of, but broth with the nutrients is all good by me.

Don't know why we couldn't just heat up Gatorade though.

I have watched, I would say, over 150 games the last 10 years or so where the temperature is below 40. I can recall twice where they showed hot chocolate being available for players, both Lsu

So either we are unique, or for whatever reason the tv crews only show us doing it

Okay, so you admit that they may have had it, but that it was only shown when you watched.

Got it.

Who is crying? Brian Kelly has done a fantastic job this season. All turn great turnaround

I’m simply wondering why we treat cool weather so much differently than anyone else and make it such an issue from a training staff perspective

Maybe if you understood that many of the players were battling flu then you would understand. It was for comfort and to make the sick players feel better.

We had ice on the field.
We had players with the flu.

Being Mr I don’t wear Sleeves Toughguy doesn’t do much to combat that.

Just because you can’t understand it, doesn’t mean it’s not a thing. Why do people always have to find something to complain about?
This is a sports message board. Why do people get so flustered with bringing up a topic from the game?

Nobody is shitting on the players or the coaches here.

Or, and hear me out on this, it could point to this being a regular practice for cold games.

Good god, that is a standard in the NFL and all cold weather games. I have seen warm chicken broth on the sidelines for years on TV. Find a real reason to rant, not this Mickey Mouse crap.

Oh know, an elite program is trying to keep there players comfortable and focused during a game the horror!
