Hard to imagine LSU top brass is sitting back watching this mess. Why is it so important? There's more going on here than just improving the depth chart.

Vertical alliance and synergy

Top to bottom all are on board

From system, to president, to ad, to head coach, coordinators, team

Because the man in charge of the football team wants it, that’s why.

daquan wright isnt just depth. HE'd be one of the best players on the team.

The guy who was undrafted & couldn’t make it with the Cleveland Browns?

The ramifications of potential penalties from the SEC to its members make these decisions a university problem. The Presidents and ADs have to be involved.

Is he that good? Thought he went undrafted?

I’m sure both sides are going to abide by tomorrow’s ruling. The only drama will be if the judge sides with the players and the conference ignores the ruling.

If the judge reverses field and the conference is correct, I know LSU won’t play them

What an asinine statement

Look back at all the Heisman winners and get back to me on how many had good careers in the NFL

It is a different level to college

LSU doesn't have a big bodied traditional TE with experience, and I believe he was All-SEC (edit: looked it up, he was 2nd team all-sec with Green)

Green isn't going to be on the line blocking much if ever, Wright will be and he already knows the offense

Does it start with the clown governor, many of you voted for?

Yeah, that guy. Who was All-SEC in this offense a year ago and had enough yards receiving that would have broken the LSU single season record for TEs. A year older. And more versatile than any TE on the team. He would change so much with what Lane and Weis could do with the offense.

Whatever your argument is regarding these guys playing for LSU this year, downplaying just how good Wright is makes it weaker and seem intellectually dishonest. Anybody who poo-poos him and Harris as merely “depth pieces,” isn’t serious in this discussion.

Why go to politics? What's the point?

But tbh, yeah, he's probably politicing. Would not surprise me

Also, I don't vote for either party because the two party system is ruining america and I refuse. Yes my vote for politicians is wasted, but I also vote on amendments which is not.

It’s really not a big deal. Stop being scared by the silly media and empty threats.

LSU is not involved in these cases at all. If the players are eligible and SEC doesn’t penalize, LSU along with several other SEC schools will have these new players. That’s it

Bauer Sharp is an NFL TE & this guy isn’t. He is a depth piece that would do well in Kiffin’s offense with Trey’Dez. We don’t need to over sensationalize it

I went to politics because it started with him throughout the hiring process. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut. He just loves to hear himself talk.

It’s pretty clear to me now that the league isn’t just after us because of these players playing. It has to go way deeper than that

If that’s the case this roster sucks. He was undrafted

This roster does not suck. But Lane is the type of guy says if I can’t have him, then nobody can.
