Uga and Auburn have good chances to make Omaha. Tbh, a couple other sec teams can make it also.

If you’re a football-first fan then an I’ll-cheer-for-State mentality makes sense. But they are not harmless in baseball nowadays. If you think that Mississippi State is just going to relegate themselves to an also-ran to LSU on the diamond then you’re not paying attention to their hires, and to how they’re approaching off-season talent acquisition. That soft spot in your heart for little ole State needs rethinking. Baseball is their jam, and if every year they go to the Music City Bowl and Omaha then those guys will be over the moon.

I don't want any SEC teams to win it, but if I HAD to pick an SEC team, it would be Auburn. I like Butch.
I wouldn't mind seeing Southern Miss win it.
I wouldn't mind seeing UCLA win it. Their team story is a good one, with the patience shown by the coach to play a bunch of freshmen a couple years ago and just ride out the ups and downs.
I like Kansas' story with all the JUCO, D2, and NAIA guys. And I like Fitz.
I like Florida State's coach and wouldn't be upset if they won.
I won't really be pulling for anyone. I'll just be pulling against the SEC teams and Coastal.

I’m with you on the SEC stuff! With that said, being from Mississippi, I’ll be pulling for USM to make it. They’ve always had a gritty team but come up just short of making it to Omaha a couple of times.
