Put me down for Fickell.
Second would be Aranda. I love the idea of Freeze’s O with our athletes, but it goes against my initial call for a cerebral guy and getting away from the cartoon character/side show kind of coaches.
That said, im almost sure it won’t be anyone from our list. SW has a tendency to both make a splash, while still pulling the coach that no one saw coming. Gonna be an interesting. GDT’s

I'm going with Meyer first and foremost I don't think he's burned out yet. He's just not a fit for NFL. Second would be Freeze. Third would be Fickell. 4th would be Napier.

That order. Also, that list is pretty awful, imo. Just goes to show we're in a bad time to search for a coach. I don't care about Freeze or CUM's personal life. They win games and CUM is guaranteed a NC if he's not burned out. That's his only question does he sit on his money or not? I doubt he messes his legacy up like that. I don't care how many LSU blonde coeds he screws in his off time if he's winning us games. All HCs at major universities have dirt on themselves. There's no moral high ground here for HCs. I don't care what Freeze did with prostitutes and recruiting violations. The NCAA is close to not existing anymore at this point.
If we can't do those 2 I want consistency with a guy like Fickell. He'd establish LSU's tradition and pride again which has always been nasty defenses that are harder to do in modern NCAA.

Surprisingly not a lot of LSU fan attention on Matt Campbell, in this thread and in general. Surprising to me because he’s on basically every “national list” as one of the hottest coaching names in CFB
