TCU game with better running than passing. Much better defense.

I think our OLine will be a dominant group this year.

I think they will be the best OLine we've had since Miles has been here.

I think we see more of the Iowa type of game plan with a lot of Magee and Fournette. In the passing game look for a big game from the TE's, and RB's in the flats. Difference from the TCU game is Mett, OBJ, and Landry were all returning starters. This is only Jennings 2nd start, so I think they keep it somewhat conservative and incorporate a lot of short to intermediate routes with the occasional play action bomb.

Think LSU at West Virginia. Pound away early, bombs away in obvious run situations.

Will Fournette be able to pick up the blitz packages? That is what always keeps freshmen running backs off the field. It isn't the running - it the blocking that takes them a while to get right.

I am officially worried about the Wisconsin game and also feeling pessimistic.

That means that football season is getting close! Yay!

This. TCU had a senior qb. Iowa had a freshman.

But that was last year. I expect a 1 score victory vs Wisconsin. Half this board will want Miles' head, the other half will understand what a victory it was

We're going to Wisconsin, Wisconsin.

200+ yards rushing. Guaranteed.

You're right, pass protection is a key part in being a successful back in college and pros, but I'm willing to bet Fournette will be able to handle it. I don't think he's your typical freshman RB.

The passing game will be the story. If AJ learns to throw the deep ball and makes quicker reads we should be ok. If not expect to see Harris. I still don't believe a true freshman QB can win? Maybe Cam can get the QB's prepared. If we can not throw deep we won't stretch the field. In that case we might as well tell them the which running play is coming and hope our big gladiators up front are too strong to be beaten. A real meat grinder kind of game. The running game will be much more like the Iowa game unless the defense can score 14.

The normal LSU Fan Default garbage "Can the youngster pick up the blitz package". Please, we are going to use that one for LF? The next Adrian Peterson? I like how other teams bring in Freshmen QB's and win National Titles-See FSU and Jameis Winston...I bet he was not ready to pick up the total blitz packages and be able to read the whole defense coming at him and....wait-did he not win the natty?

You know what, put LF in the game and hand him the ball and "Let him run". When a blitz, he chips then slides out in the flat and catch the ball then "let him run"

Please with that nonsense!!! He is smart anyway!!
