During typical years we usually start around 14.

Any chance we start in the Top 10, with JD returning and Kelly having another off season under his belt?

I say FSU 9 and us 10 to create that Top 10 primetime matchup.

absolutely irrelevant.

Voter polls, especially polls at the beginning or early part of the season, are a joke.

The only ranking that matters is the final Playoff Selection Committee's ranking.

That's it.

Almost all of those teams will be trotting out a new starting qb. I wouldn't just assume we'll be behind all of them.

That doesn't mean they're going to be ranked ahead of LSU. As a team LSU will be in the running for a playoff position talent wise. They don't have more starter talent than LSU and they definitely won't have our depth. LSU will be ranked ahead of them.

LSU will have a shot at SEC championship as well. SEC Championship+more talent >>>> FSU favored at ACC champs

Voters will give LSU more respect for talent level alone.

If Moore is an early enrollee and has an exceptional spring, you can slot UCLA about 10th.

FSU has been raking the transfer portal. They'll have comparable talent. Maybe not a game changer like #40, but they'll have some players.

I think LSU will be the underdog by the time the game starts.

FSU is going to get a lot of preseason love and be the dark horse pick so a lot of public money may end up going to them.
