No one is scoring more than 14-or-so points on this defense, and our running game is one of the best in the country. Once we clean up the pass protection and Mett continues to mature and begins to punish teams for loading the box, we are basically unbeatable IMO.

Does anyone know where the LSU team hotel will be in Miami? As much as I love playing in Nola, it will be fun this year to have our first title game played in a location other than Nola. Check in here if you will be traveling to Miami to watch LSU win our 3rd national title in 10 years.

(this thread is somewhat tongue-in-cheek and mostly an attempt to put a more positive vibe on page1)

I kinda agree but we already know anything can happen. We almost lost to Auburn.

All for the confidence in the team, but this is down right delusional after Saturday's performance. No, I'm not some negaTiger but a realist here. Two big road tests and a huge home game before the grand daddy. I certainly wouldn't book a hotel yet, but if you're looking to do that I recommend the Breakers.

was a performance indicative of a champion-in-the-making....Not playing your best, tough environment against a talented team with nothing to lose and a coaching staff fighting for survival, multiple miscues, and still come home with an SEC victory over our longtime division rival.

Unlike last year, the 2012 LSU Tigers will be battle-tested come Dec/Jan, and IMO that will make them a better overall team more capable of responding well when adversity arises in Miami.

I seem to remember the almighty Crimson Tide having to block a FG at home against a shitty Tennessee team in 2009 to preserve a win. The score may have been familiar to you. It was 12-10. This is the SEC. It's a wake up call. Time to dominate the rest of the schedule.

Have you ever seen those old "Twilight Zone" episodes where a guy wishes for something but he is not specific enough and it turns out bad?

Miami will have the Orange Bowl Jan. 1, 2013

There's a lot of truth in what the OP is saying, despite any facetiousness. All this team needs to do is limit the three-and-outs. That's what got us into trouble in the last two games of last season. We need at least a couple of first downs on every drive. With a fresher defense, the rest will take care of itself. Geaux do it.
