Nick Saban his first chip here.
Les Miles first chip here.
Ed O first ring here.

We are better than we think we are. Everyone talks
Sugar Honey Ice Tea cause we are always a threat.
Let’s just stay out of our own way. I guess that’s what Woodys here for lol

In Saban's case, it was mutual. We're still on the 20 year championship path Saban laid down.

I understand but it was not going happen at Michigan St. He had a plan I will say that. LSU showed him the talent in the South and gave him connections that still benefits him to this day. Take LSU out of the picture it’s not happening. It’s not an arrogant thing. I know the value this school possesses, It’s a reason BO wanted this job back I. The day. If that tragedy doesn’t happen, it’s whole different ball game. Nothing to do with being a homer. As it’s been stated leadership at top has beem our main stumbling block.

uh, Curley Hallman says hi.

Now yes, LSU in many ways recruits itself. But it's takes more than just great players to consistently win at a championship level.

Saban laid the foundation for Les to win at least 2-3.

Several other coaches before them disagree.

Gerry Dinardo

He did some good things for LSU that Saban benefitted from. He started getting some of the good instate talent to start coming to LSU instead of leaving the state. Much of his undoing was thanks to Lou Tepper.

LSU is NOT the same program in the 2000’s that is was in the 90’s. So..... much changed the minute Mark Emmert was hired as Chancellor.

Emmert understood, unlike the idiots running LSU before him, that a great football program brought in 100’s of millions into the school. He went out & paid top dollar for coach, who understood the talent rich state LA is.

Together, Emmert & Saban started investing 100’s of millions into badly outdated football facilities.

Saban reconnected Nola recruiting back to LSU and with the much improved facilities and emphasis on being a vastly improved football program, LSU became what it has been since 2000. A great Football program that any decent hire can win titles at.

Saban set up LSU to succeed at an elite level. It was not assumed that LSU was elite until he arrived.

Oh, for God’s sake! This is just stupid. Saban had nothing to do with that 2019 championship, except to be our bitch in Tuscaloosa.
