Re-watching some games from last year, and Perkins' pure domination against Arkansas still amazes me. And while he was sick with the flu.

- 4 sacks
- 2 forced fumbles
- 8 tackles
- 1 pass break up
- 1 QB hurry

which game did he start playing significantly? he had 7.5 sacks, the SEC leader had 10. Perkins could have had 15 had he played all year.

That’s honestly not an understatement

I think the question was something like “what did LSU do that was different in this game?”

And Kiffin said something like “they played 40 more, I was hoping they wouldn’t”

Very few can be “unstoppable” when they are “on” during a game. Perkins has that ability to completely takeover a game when he’s dialed in. Incredible athlete.

He’s definitely a “takeover the game” type of player.

The kind of guy teams have to scheme against and know where he’s lined up.

Amazing freshman season.

He could be the most special defensive player we’ve seen in our uniform

Just go back and look how many times he pressured, hit, or got Bryce young off balance.

They schemed against a player who didn't know the plays. He knows more of what to look for now. Oh, btw, we also have 2 DL who are all-SEC.

This defense is going to be really good. What we have returning, the transfers, House dialing up blitz packages. We are going to put pressure on the QB. It’s going to be enjoyable watching a defense again.

Michael Brooks had an incredible game against Mississippi State one time, but this was even better.

Only other game I remember being taken over by a player and close to that in an LSU uniform was probably the Kentucky game from 2010-11 with the Badger.

Arkansas didn't, at the SEC media day the razorback RB said they weren't prepared for him/ didn't watch film on him
