This is another reason they want him at linebacker. He will be able to survey and attack.
Of course he is going to step down to the end of the line and rush the passer. Just like he will delay blitz up the middle. There are endless possibilities.

I hope he can become that. That would mean better than TM7, PP, Devin White, Tommy Casanova, and a host of other great defensive players who have donned the Purple and Gold!!
