I remember hearing Neck being played at the 2007 Auburn game however I don’t remember the STTDB at the end. I could be wrong. I will say for Saturday’s game watching on TV. You could clearly hear oweo, you suck! On TV. I thought that brought back some old school feel and honestly, I could not hear the piped in music too much on the television but from what I understand it was being played anyway.

The ever more extreme measures the university resort to to silence the chant have become more objectionable than the chant itself. I'd rather hear STTDB all day long than ear splitting rap. And whatever LSU does will never succeed. The students will always be one step ahead in their inventiveness. It's what students do.
When I was a youngin in the seventies, North Stadium residents would hang scurrilous banners out their windows on game days. This is nothing new and we managed to survive being exposed to them. Kids today have heard far worse than STTDB by the time they're in third grade.
In an ideal world students wouldn't chant STTDB. But we don't live in an ideal world and this is small potatoes compared to other egregious social pathologies on gameday that LSU willfully turns a blind eye to.

Trashiest things I see during LSU game days is 30-50 year old men earring the wheel of fortune puzzle with STTDB as the answer.
I hate this chant so much and wish it would die. I’m 38 btw so while I’m getting old, the clouds I yell at are not quite sky high yet.

It happened in like my Senior or junior year. I remember being at the game it started. So that’d be around 2011-12

i posted this once on here, but I’ll say it again …couple years ago when we were in Omaha after we beat Arkansas we’re going through the concourse and some dumb arse college kid screams to the top of his lungs STTDB and everybody walking out were LSU fans just looks at this guy and gave him the third degree
