The roots of STTDB began with adding “A$$hole!” to “Tiger Rag” in the early 2000’s.

I was kind of ok with it as an initial FU to the admin but yeah it’s continued use as a saying associated with LSU is pretty trashy.

adding “A$$hole!” to “Tiger Rag” in the early 2000’s. This led to the song being phased out and eventually banned.

A couple years later, the students doing the “Oweo” cheer added the words “You suck!” to the song.

Wrong. "Ahole" to Tiger Rag and "u suck" to Oweo was being done at least as early as 1985 and probably earlier.

Yes, but it wasn’t until the early 2000’s that “Tiger Rag” was banned.

It’s not a good look for LSU.

There’s nothing cool or humorous about it. It’s just stupid…

The origins of Neck come from Southern, not LSU. The STTDB is classless, it doesn't belong, but try to explain that to the rednecks who think it's "cool". It's morons who just got away from home and want to say dirty words where mama can't slap their mouth any longer.
