You know the old saying is true..ESPN really does hate LSU.

The way Davis was arguing with him, you'd have thought Pollack had called his mother a whore.

Or maybe these guys are looking at us objectively and not with purple and gold glasses on and they realize how stupid we were to hire O as a HC.
Until he wins, we won't get respect.

It's a big difference between praising him from their knees and the host who isn't a football guy going out of his way to argue. Embarrassing for Rece.

I remember Craig James, shortly before he left the media, stating that ESPN had instructed them to tout USC and the west coast teams.

He did a good bit of winning last year.

nobody respects us after the Orgeron hire.
we need to earn respect back on the field.

Herbstreit was right though. A successful season at LSU has to mean we are playing in the SEC championship game. Anything else isn't good enough for our fanbase.

Davis is a whiny little bama douche. Fowler was much better.

By losing to the only two teams with a pulse he played in the regular season?

And then he acted surprised and didn't understand when Herbie said that LSU fans have national championship expectations every year.

This kind of post on game day tells me you're not a fan. In fact, you're a jerk.

No. Nobody respects us bc he haven't done crap to meet expectations in the last 5 years. LSU has to earn respect back. It will not be given nor should it be.

They all had good points. I'm glad Miles was fired. However, if we don't win 10 this year and win the SEC the next, the hiring of O was the wrong move.
If you don't improve on Miles' success, the hire was a fail.
Davis is correct. Who hires a head coach that is third in line, at best, on the coaching staff? More directly, someone name any school in the SEC, ACC or Big 10 that would have hired O as their head coach?
He's widely considered to be Ole Miss' worst coach in the history of their program. This is one of the least successful programs historically in the country.
I hope O succeeds because that means LSU succeeds. However, if you don't view this hire skeptically, you are not very intelligent, or are at least viewing with purple glasses on.
