2 point conversion against alabama bluegrass miracle, earthquake touchdown

Hard to say... The Jayden Daniels to Mason Taylor 2 point conversion against Bama was pretty exciting, especially seeing it in person. Last season's walkoff vs Ole Miss was pretty good too. My first game ever to witness in person was LSU vs Florida in '97. I've been blessed to witness many special moments in LSU's history.

My most exciting play in LSU football history is Lionel Turner on a delayed blitz sacking Jason White in the 2003 BCS NC Game. I was at the game. Sitting in the section behind the band. As soon as that sack happened, I knew LSU was going to win. I immediately went to the kiosk selling merchandise and they opened the boxes with the championship hats and shirts. I got 3 of them. Returned to my seat with the shirt to watch the final seconds tick off. I lost my voice screaming. What made it better is the section over were a bunch of OU fans and from the start were saying LSU had no chance. Loved the look on their faces as they left as LSU fans cheered.

In person for me it’s either Flynn to Byrd against Auburn. Hester game winning TD vs Florida, or Honey badger punt return for a Td vs UGA in the SEC championship. Offense was looking god awful that day and then badger rips one and everything changed.

This is an LSU board. I follow college football. I also follow LSU. I’m not going to post another team’s exciting plays here.

Tommy Banks dive across the goaline vs Fla, I was 13 and in that #, that was my 1st year as a diehard tiger degenerate and it only got better (and worse) after that.

Looking back on this play, was it The Mad Hatters gusty balls? Or was it his poor clock management that we hadn't realized yet?
On the play before, Dickson was tackled at the 23 with around 44 seconds left. LSU didn't snap the ball until 8 seconds and then threw deep. If it had dropped incomplete you've maybe got 3 seconds left for a 40 yard field goal.

Many good ones have already been mentioned so I'll go with 2 that I don't think have been.
1. Freshman RB Justin Vincent brings the handoff of the first play of the NC game TO THE HOUSE!
and...
2. 4th and loooong with 30 seconds remaining. JaMarcus to Early Doucet for the win in Tempe! Les Miles first game and first game after Katrina. I was there.

3rd and 17 at Texas. Any previous LSU team runs there and relies on its defense to try to get a stop and win the game. That was when we knew that team was made of stone cold killers and it was the first big moment of a season full of big moments by the greatest team in college football history.

I think this adds to the moment. I dont think any of us really know, but somehow it worked.

3rd and 17
But if we could discuss just a few seconds of game time.
LSU was leading 19-13 with 1:11 before halftime
Thad Moss toe tap catch.
3 plays later, CEH over the top (0:26)
Kickoff to Bama
Next play, Patrick Queen with the interception. Bama personal foul. (0:11 left)
Next play, CEH catch out of the backfield for a TD. (0:06 left)
LSU 33-13 going into halftime.

Since OP asked for single most exciting play. But fortunate enough to have been witness to many unforgettable plays as an LSU football (sports) fan, many covered in this thread.

Hard to beat the feeling for Daniels 25 yard OT run followed by Maason Taylor two point conversion for me.
Are you 10?

I was at LSU from 2008-2010 and a ton of great moments come to mind:
Even though we lost, the 2008 blocked field goal at the end of the game in Saban's return to TS is still the loudest and most exciting moment I've experienced in TS.
Other moments include: DeAngelo Peterson reverse in 2010 but really the whole game, Peterson punt return and Heisman pose vs. WV in 2010, and Arkansas overtime win in 2009. All great games and moments to be in the stands as a Tiger fan.

TM7 punt return in 2011 SECCG
Bama 2pt Conversion in 2022
Plenty of other “holy shite” moments that won’t get mentioned but were exciting
2012 Landry TD in the 4th against Bana
2009 Ridley TD at UGA
2021 Johnson TD against TAMu
2015 ish - AJ TD pass after a 99 yard drive
2024 Lacy Ole Miss walk off

Bert Jones to Brad Davis extra point with 1 second left to beat Ole Miss in Death Valley in 1972.
You have to be old to remember it but yes, this was without question, at least in my 78 year old mind, was the most exciting play in LSU history. If you were there it was not only the play, but how that drive played out from Ole Piss FG until the end.
