I’ve finally started looking over the roster the last few days to learn names and backgrounds. Been pleasantly surprised at how much age and experience we have with expected starters.
It’s so hard to nail what 1st year teams with tons of transfers are going to do. I do think this is going to be a damn solid team though.
I was at 9-3 but I’m starting to lean 10-2.

My expectations aren't necessarily W/L related. I think LK will do great here in time.
what i want to see is an offense with a pulse, both lines being just physically menacing and nasty, and some attitude and swag when everyone knows LSU is it.

My expectation is playoffs
I don't care if we get there going 9-3 or 12-0
But we should be competitive and in the thick of it in late November

My expectation is 9-3 with a reasonable hope for 10-2. 8-4 would be a letdown and 11-1 would be an amazing season. We shouldn't even bring up 12-0. If it happens, it happens.

Couldn't agree more with this. Too many times I feel like the other team has wanted it more than us during BK's tenure, and that falls on him.
I think regardless of what our record is at the end of the year, we are much better off long term, and I am really excited for what this season brings either way.
I want to see our team play with some passion and get in the opposing team's face. I want to see some of that swagger return that we honestly haven't seen since 2019 from start to finish.
I think 10-2 or 9-3 is very realistic. Luckily, we get four of our toughest matchups at home. Kentucky and Auburn have historically been very tough places for us to play in regardless of personnel and coaching, and Tennessee won't be a cakewalk either.
We've only had a handful of seasons where we went undefeated or had one loss in program history. Given the state that Kelly left things, Kiffin has his work cut out for him.
Is it impossible? Absolutely not, but it is improbable that we go undefeated or end up with only one loss.

Got to agree with SlickRick it all hinges on OL play. If we are ok on the OL the offense is going to score points. Defense will be good to very good as long as the corners stay healthy. Going to see real quick if we can run the ball.
If we can run the ball its a 10-2 season or better if we can't then we may have 4 loses.

A defense that gets off the field on 3rd down and gives the ball back to the offense, which gives us a chance in every game we play.

The defense should be near infallible.
The offensive line needs to be light years better than last year or it won’t matter if our scheme, QB, and receivers are good.
Some hiccups early on for offense re timing, connecting, but fixed early.
If something or someone isn’t working, it gets fixed.
Team plays w energy and intensity.
We are always in the game; no blowouts.

I expect them to make the playoffs. That’ll likely take at least a 9-3 record. Fingers crossed.
