We MUST have Evans to have any chance of winning 2.. If he is on his A game, he is one of the few guys who has the stuff to shut their offense down long enough for us to have a chance to score more than they do.

It's not over till it's over, that is - until we say it is.

Was it over when they Bombed Pearl Harbor, whoever did that? We think it was the Germans? But some eye witnesses say it was the Japs? Noted WW2 scholar Bluto Blutarsky says it was the Germans.

What matters is - sure we can win.

Which one? Yamin in right or Reaves in right? Reaves at third or Dardar at third?

Last three games vs SC, two positions varied (other than Bide and Serna alternating at catcher or DH)

Game 1 - Reaves at third & Yamin in left
Game 2 - Dardar at third and Reaves in left
Game 3 - Dardar at third and Yamin in left

Vs Southeastern, these 4 players were different than before or after (except Reaves, who sometimes plays third or Left field or sits)

Yorke at first
Braun in right
Reaves at third
Patrick in left

But I suspect it will be DarDar at 3rd and Reaves in LF and otherwise the same.

Even one win @ Georgia should be celebrated. They're an exceptional ballclub this year

Just my guess but Yamin has been stone cold recently and Reaves had a good weekend. With UGAs field and right handed heavy pitching staff I think Reaves gets the start over him

Dardar also starting probably

Don't make stoopid mistakes and bounce the ball all over the batter's box, we have a very good chance winning each game.

1 game I’d put odds 50/50.

Series probably less than 20%.

Sweep 5%.

play well and and limit free passes. Timely hitting by us with runners on. Anything can happen. We can beat anyone. Wouldn't surprise me at all to win the series. look at GA schedule. 10 or more of their conference wins are against bottom half of the league including 6 against Mizzou and SC

Keep the ball in the park and play good defense.

Score early and often to burn through their arms.

You would think UGA would recruit left handed starters, given their ballpark. Maybe they tried, but all of their starters are right handed, which means we will probably put as many lefties in the lineup as we can, to take advantage of the short left field porch.

I think Patrick, Cerna, and Arrambide will be the only right handers in the lineup.

We outscored SC 21-5 in three games, borderline shocking. I think that may be more dominant than Georgia's performance vs this same team

@ #43(14th in the SEC), they have a much weaker SOS than LSU @ #21(11th in the SEC). Still not a cake walk and beat the teams that swept us, including sweeping Moo State

We are 3-12 vs the top 25. We probably go 0-3.

The key is going to be pitching. I don't think our pitchers were afraid of USC and that allowed them to play to contact. Our trouble starts when the pitchers aren't throwing strikes, and sometimes that happens when a pitcher gets to cute trying to get the hitter to swing at something just out of the zone.

I just hope our pitchers don't get intimidated by the atmosphere and the power in the UGA lineup.

I was happy to see a strong performance by Paz this weekend, especially after giving up a dinger early. His pattern has been to come out strong and then fall apart once he allows a baserunner or two. He was great against USC and kept the walks to a minimum and didn't let them throw him off his game.

Those are facts and people don't like them. LSU should have swept Moo state as well, they just imploded. IF they don't implode the have a good chance of taking the series.
