I've heard the same thing from others. You hear stuff about players not being happy with O from a summer meeting. I think Thomas was one of the ones leading the charge on that front. Not saying that is right, wrong or otherwise. Just is what it is.

Unfortunately, I think the injury coupled with him becoming perhaps a bit of a distraction has taken him out of favor. His status of being buried on the depth chart was made clear by the fact Martinez came in at guard vs. Florida when both Hines and Deculus (briefly) were out. I think it is a pretty reasonable bet to assume the ship has sailed for him and LSU

When you get down to the numbers we are at for OL then no ship has left the dock...

Didn't he perform well at multiple camps?

the only problem i see with this explanation is that he went to all the campus and did tremendously well against premiere campers.

He got radicalized during the election moment. Probably can’t focus because of SJW activities.

He also bullied the best talent in the country at all-star games and practices.

This basically the opposite of what most reports are. Once he went to camps he started dropping

He was running with the twos and pushing for playing time when he got hurt so he definitely has the talent. Coming off of a lost year with very little spring / summer practice has hurt him more than anything.

Put him on a diet, remind him he needs to improve to sniff the field and get him on some roids!

Doesn't want to do what it takes to get sec ready.... Hard Work. May be a good kid but he's got a case of lazy and is not wanting to pay the price to get to where he can add depth to the oline. The door's open.

Think he thought he would walk in and start day one

Then he gets hurt and on top of that is lazy.

If you dont hear him pushing for a spot in spring practice i think he will transfer

I saw him play his senior year. He did not look dominant. He was just so much bigger than everyone else. He actually looked either lazy or like he was going half speed.

Just take one look at the guy. He’s the muffin top man. Woke. So so woke. I can’t tell if he reminds me more of the Michelin Man or Slimer from Ghostbusters.

i disagree. he went from a 5* to a 4* after The Opening i believe.

Look I love Kardell. He was the kind of kid we all wanted here. Home grown, got a little mean to him, and WANTED to be here.

His injury right before he got here shelved him for a season. He had a poor rehab and kept getting lingering setbacks. I think he's got a long way to go in the weight room on his lower body. He's an OG, and those guys need to have a thick lower body, and right now he's severely lacking.

Needs to lose bad weight and bulk up with good weight in his lower body, and get healthy
