Not trying to rag on him but it was pretty clear he was only on the field last year out of pure necessity once Gilbert left.
Kole is talented, but came in underweight as a freshman. Let him add 25-30 pounds to that 6'7 frame and watch him become a solid contributor.

I thought he was on defense again.

He’s already pushing 245. Just needs reps and a ton of coaching.

Looks the plan is to mostly run 4 wide or 5 wide.

Umm what? Bech is jacked and is the WR most physically ready to play. I swear our fanbase ...

Bech is a true freshman.
Devonta Lee is also physically ready to play (more so than Bech and faster) and he has played in a SEC football game.

He is 215lbs FOR A TIGHT END and he’s going to get tossed around on the line unless he bulks up. It’s a simple physics problem dummy.

Kole, with a K, is an intriguing player. Is he just another guy or will he make some huge plays to keep drives alive in the competitive games?

Probably depends on who is the starting QB.

Except our FLEX TEs arent having their hand on the ground blocking defensive ends extendedly any more. This isnt Les Miles' offense guys.

Bech will spend majority of his time split out and never have his hand in the ground in the TE role he'll play.

Have we just given up on Devonta Lee, or have they moved him to another position...again? I wish they could find the best place for him to contribute.

Roster has him listed as a WR now. He has really been disappointing honestly. I loved him coming in. But when they start moving a player all over the place like Lee, I have given up on him ever getting any playing time. I thought he would be a sure non miss LBer, but something is just off.

Kole Taylor looked good for a Freshman last year.....expect good things from him this season. Nick Storz will relieve him some but is more of a blocker only.

Really dont get where people get this stuff. He was the lowest graded player on offense last year (per PFF) who played significantly - by a wide margin with a grade of 45.3 overall (thats bad). It was pretty clear why he basically didnt play much at all until Gilbert left the team. He wasnt close to be being ready to play on this level.

Maybe the lightbulb will come on for him ...like it did for Jacoby Stevens

I don’t understand the blind faith in Storz being able to contribute. Hopefully he will, but I’m certainly not counting on it.

I pull for underdogs. I liked that TE in spring game on purple team, walk on, Mashburn. Give him a shot!
