I was 21- Drunk drunk drunk. I cooked a turducken and threw a party. We went to Academy to get our championship gear after the game. I barfed in the parking lot
and then realized that one of my dad’s friends was in line about 5 people behind me. I don’t think he ever told my parents

At a watch party at a friends house. We up a huge projector screen in his yard. Had fire pits going. Tons of food and drink. Bounce houses for the kids to entertain themselves. Was awesome!

You are correct about the weather for the 2003 Natty. I chattered a horse drawn carriage that took us up Poydrus all the way to the Dome.
2001.Sugar Bowl it was warm and muggy with crazy wind before game. The rain and cold front blew in during the game. We all came of scrambling getting wet and cold. It was Sugar Sweet. We had know idea what was come the next 20+ years ! Woke up in the morning to freezing rain and I-10 closed. What a ride it became

Its because they were annual tickets holders to the Sugar Bowl. I had same. My dad owned them before me. Still own them but the process has changed with the CFP organization. You should get online and buy annual tickets. Then pass em on to kids. It is a great tradition.

I can still remember the feeling I had walking through the Terrace level portal and seeing the field and thinking ‘Holy shite! I’m about to actually watch LSU play for a National fricking Championship!!!’

That’s how I felt just walking to the Dome before the game. The memory I had was thinking of that Auburn int fiasco from 1994 and that if you told me we’d be playing for a national title less than 10 years later, I’d have laughed.

I set a personal record on what I’d pay for a pair of tickets. Well worth it. Never thought I’d live t see a NC.

Senior year. Tickets fell through. Too poor. Simply could not believe LSU had won the freaking natty! Couldn't imagine them ever even finishing as high as #2 to even having opportunity to play for a National Championship. All my buddies from home who didn't get in watched at some joint in Jackson square. Never forget looking at my lifelong buddy and not quite believing we did it. Was it a dream? Certainly my greatest title as a fan. Walking over to Canal and greeting team bus arrival and then celebrating victory all night in New Orleans, Louisiana as National champs. Go ahead and get your tickets now for '27 season NC played in the dome. 4 year cycle in affect as well.

That it was! My oldest son and I watched it and it was a magical night. One for the books!

I was still in highschool watching the game on the side of a neighbor’s house hooting and hollering, sneaking beers from the ice chests then away at halftime to smoke, after the game headed over to meet some girls that had a sleepover down the street. Crazy night. And not really a good time in my life. But man was that game wild I just knew we were gunna win.. What a defense man I miss those teams

Watching on TV as Donnie Jones punted and clinched the crystal football for LSU.

To this day, these were still the hardest of all LSU tickets to get. My Dad and I were lucky enough to get two tickets. I was a sophomore in high school and it ended up being the last game my dad got to see in person before he passed later that year. Awesome memories!
And I want to know how Tiger 79 pulled this off. That’s incredible.
