What we're not discussing in regards to Wingo clip

Let's just for the moment, take Wingo at his word, and that he was emotional etc.
But look at House himself. He gives off really weird vibes. Almost beta qualities. Very gooberish.
In HS, our DC was a massive hardass. Not an a-hole, just a hardass. Alpha.
House looks like a kid who is trying to be friends with people that are just not in his wheelhouse.

Seems to me that another thing we are not discussing is why it is important to House whether Wingo comes back or not.

Who cares? Players don’t like all coaches. So what? It’s what it is this day and time. I’m sure they all loved Jimbo, Riley, Meyer, Schembechler or Hayes.

I’m willing to bet that last year when Wingo was crushing it that he and House had a solid business like relationship. It’s been a rough year. Surgery, rehab, and a hype emotional finish to the game. Not every coach, especially one who’s spent so much time in the NFL, is going to be that HS hyped up defensive coordinator.

Dave Aranda is about as stoic as a human can be.
We would have won the natty easily with him as our DC this year. He gets the absolute best out of the players he has, and limits their exposure in regards to their weaknesses.

Yeah but not all players are captains… you could just feel the animosity through the screen while watching that video, and if things are that bad with one of your captains then imagine what the other players see and think. If a coach can’t even get respect from their “captain”, then there’s pretty much no hope, it’s a lost cause

Have you ever watched the Missouri head coach? That dude is the definition of cringe and it’s always so awkward seeing him do interviews and what not, hes someone who tries so hard to be cool and likeable that he goes overboard and it just ends up being cringey and really awkward bc you feel bad for him, you know what I mean? lol …
