I'll always fondly remember when we nuked ND back to the stone age when they came to the sugar bowl with Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardjizia.
This was a good one too. Only issue was I was in college and they put my student ticket higher than the pigeons.

2007 - LSU vs. Va Tech (48-7)- Va Tech was ranked in the top 10 and LSU took them behind the woodshed from jump. Offense churned out nearly 600 yards and defense gave up less than 150.
We destroyed them physically and that's when they were a good, lunch bucket type team that ran the ball well. I remember Tyrod Taylor came in for them (I think the starter got hurt) and it felt like throwing a lamb to a lion.
The OU game was a case of a shitty defense having to face an offense that would be high powered even by NFL standards. I was doing a shot of Jagermeister every time LSU scored, people were doing wellness checks on me in the fourth quarter.

LSU over Bama at Legion Field, 1982. LSU was 7-0-1, Gumps 7-1 with an 11 year win streak over us. We won 20-10 but the score was deceptive. The Tigers held the Gumps to zero first downs in the first half, 119 yards total, and forced 7 fumbles (recovering 4). It was total domination after years of heartbreak.
It was the worst beating Bama had taken since the 60s, and after the game, Bear Bryant said maybe it was time to retire. Welp, he did after that year and it was glorious as when Steve Spurrier’s career as a college HC ended with a Les Miles mercy knee.
I was young AF then, but I will always remember that game. My hatred of Bama goes wasaay back, and 20-10 will be on my gravestone.

2015 - Auburn was pretty damn fun. That was the Leonard fournette game. He went buck wild.

Hate to say it Bama on 1-9-2012 was damn near perfect. Too bad LSU was on the other side of that arse whooping.

That offense was not bad. Wasn’t always the prettiest
True. I just saw the stat line of Jarrett Lee from that game & he was 10/22 for 98 yds, 1 TD

I was 7 at the time & remember having a t-shirt from that game that said:
“We kicked Bama’s arse 20-10”

2003 against Arizona. Complete dominance.

2007 Natty is not that far off. After the opening drive touchdown it was all LSU all night.

I was at that VA Tech game in 2007, thanks for bringing that up, I had forgot I had stayed at the same hotel as the Hokies. I got my tickets from a VA Tech player in the lobby who was sitting next to Coach Beamer.

I was going to post that and I looked it up and saw they went 2-10 that year so decided not to post it upon reflection

2001 - Florida @ LSU
Steve Spurrier beat the brakes off of an up and coming Nick Saban. Game was over at the end of the 1st quarter.

Last year’s bowl game performance against Purdue was pretty damn close to perfection.
That's like saying what KState did to us the year before was perfection.
Purdue had no players.

Sean Glennon was the starter and sucked... Taylor then came in and led them on their only TD drive.
I think you're thinking of 2003 LSU vs UGA pt. 1 when David Green got knocked out for a series, UGA put a freshman DJ Shockley in and it was like a make-a-wish kid had his dream to quarterback UGA for a series fulfilled but LSU didn't get the memo.

Why did we wait 3 years to play Washington home? I remember we played in WA in 2009 then waited 3 years until 2012 for them to come here. Usually its back to back.

LSU didn't have a single first down against Georgia in the 2011 SECG until the 3rd quarter. That offense was either running down an opponent's throat or going nowhere.
