Not even close. How about losses to teams when LSU was heavily favored to win. I can think of a few in years past. How old are you?

1/9 changed the way I look at LSU athletics. Like to think I grew up a little after that. It was rough to watch

Miles' last game against Auburn. A game we should have easily won and that was the final straw, for everybody. Woke up the next morning to wait for the news he has been fired.

Are you serious? What are you 5? So many more bitter losses than this one.

I could think of like 3 Bama games since 2008 off top of my head way worse than this. Some Auburn games. Arky games. Etc.

Ole Miss 1997. No way we should have lost that game after beating Florida the week before. Tigers could not do anything right in that game....and it's a game that should have been won

I haven’t been this pissed off about a loss since the 2021 Bama game when Max Johnson just completely pissed down his leg and threw the game away. This loss was purely on coaching and offensive play calling we should’ve won by multiple scores

At the time, it was that triple overtime loss to Arkansas back in '07. I still remember that misery of feeling like we just blew our chance at making the national championship game. But then Pitt came and saved the day.

Worst/most bitter LSU losses for me:

1) 1/9
2) 2002 Va Tech
3) 2022 FSU
4) 2024 USC
5) 1997 Ole Miss ( the week after beating #1 Florida)

Exactly. After the 4th OT I just sat there silently watching the rest knowing the refs were not going to let us win under any circumstance. I was so pissed off I got in a verbal fight with my neighbor friend. Oh it made me sick that they felt good about that fake rigged up win. I hate those freaks so much.

This was a bitter loss. But some worse I’ve seen:

1998 Bama
2012 Bama
2014 Bama
2006 Auburn
2007 KY
2007 Ark

The last two season opening losses to FSU were more frustrating than the USC game. And Wisconsin is the most pissed I’ve been ever leaving a season opener because that was a perfect trip outside of that loss. Miles should’ve never been coaching at Lambeau, but oh well it all led to 2019.

No lol. The loss to bama in the National Championship and the loss to bama on the Kenyan Drake screen still upset me.

The UCLA opener a few years ago. I was there at Rose Bowl and it was worst game I've seen us play.

The “win or go home” game ending was so perfectly comedic that I wasn’t even mad. It was a fitting send-off for the Mad Hatter and the perfect encapsulation of his career at LSU.

Sunday was embarrassing, and USC's arrogant locker-room antics made it more so, but it wasn't even close to being the most frustrating loss I've ever witnessed. I was there in person for the disastrous 2011 NC game, the home loss to Alabama the following year, the needless road loss to Kentucky in 2007, the clock management debacles of Les Miles, the pathetic showings against against Wisconsin and UCLA, and numerous other horrors.
