Relax man. It makes sense.
If you have the lead, it’s less possessions for opponent to catch up.
If you are behind it’s an extra possession.
Certainly not worth getting worked up over than fans want to discuss it.

I just don't agree. The first thing I do when I watch LSU or my Eagles is hope we are kicking to start the game. I just believe it's such a huge advantage to receive the ball in the third. Again, if anybody can provide a link, show me a quote from a coach who was happy, late in the 2nd, to be kicking off to start the 3rd. Feel free to go back to Amos Alonzo flucking Stagg if it suits you.

If LSU wins the toss, they’re taking the ball, no doubt. But if they lose the toss, the defense is about continue where they left off. The defense will step up to finish this run off.

Take the ball. Line up in two tight ends with a fullback. Run toss dives at those pussies until they can’t take it anymore. We might go three and out most of the first three quarters, but by the fourth, they’ll break. And if they don’t, and we lose because they knew our plays, at least we’ll know that we played big boy football.
