What record does O need next year to win back the fans he lost this year?

Should the playoffs be expected? Or is that too difficult an expectation?

Would a 9-3/10-2 record give you hope again?

Losing 5-6 games wouldn't be acceptable

He didn't lose me but he has pissed me off. LSU should be at 10-11 wins next season. More 11 than 10 imo. Bama will lose a lot of players.

Defending on how something’s break I would Fully expect at least 10 wins.

3 losses was considered fireable for the last guy.
why should expectations change from that?

Many still hated him after last year, so not sure the number exists.

LSU fired Les Miles because 8-10 wins isn’t good enough. There is no reason with the resources that LSU has that they shouldn’t be in serious contention every single season. It should always be the expectation to maybe have a single loss & possibly two some years. Anything less is unacceptable.

If you want to put a number to it, LSU should finish NO lower than #10 year in and year out with a CFP appearance once every 2 seasons.

Oh and one more thing, LSU should absolutely under no circumstance EVER!!! get blown off the field by ANYONE!. There is way too much talent and access to resources to ever accept getting donkey punched.

There isn’t a coach in the staff that deserves to be back next year.

Honestly, it’s the players attitudes have have turned me off this season. These players started out with their protest marches and it went downhill fast from there. I think processing some players with less than desirable attitudes will be an important first step.

I’m fine with coach O and the decisions he makes.

Alot of it depends on how this season ends... Its very possible they could lose out this year... I would expect [IF THINGS ARE MORE NORMAL] that next season will be much better, however he cant go 8-4 with all the talent we have... This years team doesnt seem to have that "LEADER" per say....

He needs to go out and finish this recruiting class with stud OL and LBs in the off-season. To the point of making a huge statement.

LOL.

College football is a fun sport to watch. I’m glad you discovered it and just started watching it.

To get fans back? 10-2 minimum

To not get fired? 8-4 minimum

We should be a consistent double digits win team. We should never lose to teams outside of Bama, Florida, Auburn, and A&M. And of those we should always be competitive, and should at least win 2.... Next year I'd say we beat A&M and Florida but Bama and Auburn will be tough.

This year I'm okay with a down year, although this is way more of a down year than I expected.

lets look at his assistant hires (inherited Aranda and Raymond, so they not on the list)

Canada - fired after year 1
Ensminger - proving that Brady was the brains of last year
Pelini - yikes
Linehan - terrible at the 2 spots he's responsible
Sullivan - another 1 year guy
Bill Busch - safety play is terrible
Cregg - our O-line is garbage
Faulk - too early to call, but running game is non-existant
Bill Johnson - no interior push on DL
Mickey Joseph - Marshall only WR worth anything.
McMahon - good hire. special teams are solid

now look at those guys up there and compare to Brady.

convince me that finding/hiring Brady wasn't a complete stroke of luck.
convince me that ALL of those guys are the flukes, but Brady is closer to normal.

With normal influx of cash then 8-4 gets him fired.

With covid I’m sure you’re right and 8-4 might get a coordinator or two fired (I mean we got three )
