Tie between Jack Pyburn and Barion Brown. One offense one defense.

From the beginning I saw Pyburn as one of those gets that changes the attitude of the defense.

On the other hand I thought Brown was kinda superfluous. We had Aaron Anderson and Zavion Thomas already in that mold so I kinda saw him as being an extra mouth to feed. Instead it seems like he’s standing out and he’s looked really smooth in the practice clips. Ready to see him in action.

As of right now its between two players. Delane is the defender I am most looking forward to seeing. Our DBs have been so bad lately I am excited to see a DB room that has some studs at Corner locking down the outside and making plays on the ball and all reports are he is the guy.

Offensively I think its obvious but Barion Brown in his receiver and returner role.

Want to see a Defense Led LSU Win and will be extremely disappointed if that doesn't materialize into reality............
_______

Pretty sure you will find a way to be disappointed no matter how this game turns out.

He probably won't see much action this year but I'm looking forward to Tayron Francis on down the road. He was a bruiser in those high school çlips. Love a physical receiver

I am most excited to see how our new safeties play out. On paper they look like a massive upgrade. It’s just always concerning playing the first game together in a tough road game against one of the top teams in the country this year.

I am also very excited to see Barion Brown.

ETA: going into the spring, I was excited to see Harlem berry. Just concerned that he won’t make a massive impact year 1 because of the unknowns on the O-line and his lack of size.

Gooden, hands down.

If we have a game wrecker up front in the middle it’s like a defensive superpower.

Honorable mention: not a newcomer per se, but I also cannot wait to see a lot more of Green at TE. I legitimately think his ceiling is Pitts/Bowers.
