It really is. We have a fricking mask police task force at an outside base all venue.

quote:Alleva never recommended firing Miles. He said "I think his continued employment needs to be seriously considered." That's not a recommendation to fire him. That's a recommendation to merely think about it.
What little respect I had for Alleva increased a little bit when I read that he recommended dumping the dummy with cause.
Here, again, is just another Alleva request to think about it.
LSU's counsel, Bob Barton, had already told Alleva he could not use the incident to fire Miles for cause.

I've told all who would listen, Alleva did a great job and he ABSOLUTELY correctly benched WW's arse.
Woodward is just liked for no reason. His guidance is a joke
Easy there. Joe Alleva can still go frick himself.

Had Miles been fired for cause (after?) the 2013 season, who would have been the next HC at LSU?
Cam Cameron. Alleva's email was on June 21, 2013. Too close to the start of the season to hire from outside the program. Cam had HC experience and would have become the interim. He had Mett, OBJ, Juice, and Hill. They put up the numbers they did, have a similar or better season and next thing you know the interim tag is removed.
Coaches who were hired in 2014:
James Franklin to Penn st
Charlie Strong to Texas
Bobby Petrino to Louisville
I dont think we would have landed any of those. Think we wind up with Cameron.

if you are referring to LM, you couldn't get anyone at Michigan to agree with you. He had troubles with a coach's wife up there while there, and he was despised by all M staff. There was absolutely no chance that he was being courted by M as LM let his agent put out there. That was never going to happen. LM was a total fraud.

Alleva wanted Miles gone for that and Wade gone for the recruiting stuff. I hated Alleva as an AD, but he took the high road on both those calls when even the admin flat told him no.

He's a local BR guy, Catholic High grad, so he's plugged into the good ole boy network. As O is to Cajun Country, Woodward is to Baton Rouge, ie "one of us." He's yet to do anything to impress me as AD.

Joe probably getting a chuckle out of all this...
Maybe with the Les Miles stuff but Joe was a big-time scapegoat today being used to save Miriam and Verges jobs.

Alleva thought Miles was a lousy coach as soon as he arrived at LSU.
Yet he gave him a giant contract when that frick head Jeff Long came calling.

I don’t know that definitively was the case, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Keep in mind, this guy wanted to be President:

Lost in all this is the huge irony of the soccer moms demanding that good guy Les stay at LSU, all the while he is plotting to peg their 18 yr old, blonde, big boobed daughters
Aint that some shite

That was in '15. Alleva wanted him gone in '13. I hope this whole thing hits F'king in the balls. That arse ruined LSU.

Replacing the dummy with another 'total potato' was a real smart decision.

Can you imagine paying him off his entire buyout with that knowledge?
Posted on 3/12/21 at 8:29 am to QB
Even if that was the right move, Alleva still sucks donkey balls
Posted on 3/12/21 at 8:34 am to QB
well, then we can't have that, because we all know that it's only about money.
