increased a little bit when I read that he recommended dumping the dummy with cause. that was the right call and all against it at the time should be fired immediately. they are incompetent and cost LSU a whole lot of $

LSU is turning more liberal by the semester. It’s astonishing

Interesting what-if. This was before Orgeron came on board so he wouldn’t have been around to campaign for the job with the help of the convicted felon.

Had Miles been fired for cause (after?) the 2013 season, who would have been the next HC at LSU?

This.

It really is. We have a fricking mask police task force at an outside base all venue.

I always suspected Leslie to be a fraud and caught crap for it for years. This tells me Joe and F King had no reason whatsoever to retain Les after the 2015 A&M game.

I've told all who would listen, Alleva did a great job and he ABSOLUTELY correctly benched WW's arse.

Woodward is just liked for no reason. His guidance is a joke

Bielema left Wisconsin to go to Arky that year so you would have to think he would have been interested. Larry Fedora was still a hot name then so he would have been a possibility.

Fedora was hot in 2013. Well, nothing surprises me with LSU. This is my alma mater that was seriously considering hiring Houston Nutt.

It was no doubt the right call. Alleva thought Miles was a lousy coach as soon as he arrived at LSU. It was not like Alleva recommending to fire Miles in 2013 gave him any sleepless nights. He wanted to can Miles well before then.

With Jameis in house at FSU, hell no he wasn't coming here. Since Alleva couldn't close a deal to save his life he would've ended up with Charlie Strong or some shite.

Jimbo was coming off of a NC season. He would’ve been pursued hard by us. He would’ve been option number one. Probably couldn’t have landed him then.

Mark Helfrich was coming out of a successful first year at Oregon. He could’ve been a possibility.

Mark Dantonio and Gus Malzahn were still considered good coaches back in that day as well.

Looking back with hindsight the options don’t look too great.

Just reaffirms LSU was run by absolute circus clowns during this era.

And yet Alleva was too weak to get it done. Story of his tenure at LSU. Being a leader isn't just about having good ideas. It's about getting things done, too.

Miles should have been fired after using the Arkansas opening to get more money out of LSU. And an athletic director with real power could have removed Miles on his own timeline.
