So, apparently Lindsey Scott lit it up at EMCC in his first game as a starter since 2015.

Now, there have been quite a few of you on this board that were high on Scott from the get-go. I was not one of them to be completely honest.

But what does this tell you? Now, I by no means trust O's ability to analyze a QB, I do however trust Canada's. Scott's performance, coupled with the fact that he would have likely been QB4 at LSU may just indicate that LSU, for the first time since Russell and Flynn, actually has some depth at QB.

I don't know how to feel at this point. Nervous? Excited? Cautiously optimistic?

Etling is going to throw for 300+ and 3 TDs in the first half of every game while Brennan/Narcisse/McMillan will combine for another 300+ and 3 TDs in the 2nd half.

That's what I get out of it anyway.

Or maybe it just tells you he's playing in an offense that suits his talents.

Don't forget this was junior college and he was throwing to Krik Meritt, who I would imagine will be the best player on the field for every game.

Or maybe it just tells you he is playing in Junior College. Big difference from the SEC.

This Tells me that Coach O is extremely loyal to his recruites.

Hate to see a player leave but he was too good just to be a backup.

Good luck to Lindsey.

Doesn't tell us anything but I am happy for Scott. Different level of football not a knock against Scott at all.

Doesn't mean much other than superior athleticism can carry you much further at the JUCO level than it can at the NCAA D-I level. Also have to consider that his football education has been much higher than what he would've gotten had he begun his career at EMCC.

It tells us absolutely nothing... Hes playing junior college football... Not only that, but I'm pretty sure his team is way better than that other team.

So actually it doesnt tell us nothing, it just tells us that the QBs on our roster that were ahead of him should be able to put up similar numbers in a lopsided JC game

Come on man. If this was the case, the whole starting lineup would be freshman. He was given an opportunity in practice and was just not as good as others. From all accounts, he is a fine young man and I wish him well.

Dude, he is playing for Miss. juco. He is not an SEC caliber qb. His performance last night means absolutely nothing

All his performances tells us is that e had a very good game against junior college competition. I'm not taking anything away from his performance either, just stating a fact.

He's playing in JUCO with a bunch of top level D1 talent. It shouldn't really tell you anything except his whole team is remarkably better than 95% of it's opponents.

He seems like an awesome kid, but he wasn't good enough to play at LSU. That's ok, there's plenty of awesome kids that just aren't that great. I wish him nothing but success. Hope I'm wrong and he's top level D1, but it just doesn't seem that way.

They profiled EMCC on ESPN this past week, including Scott. It is a very talented team and I was most impressed that he became the starter so fast.

Who else do they have at QB? Last year's starter is at FAU and the backup is playing in the Padres farm system.
