Gus, you had some bad JD takes im looking at. You thought he should be moved to WR? Is that right, dude?

Did his situation allow you to give more grace to QBs now, as I am seeing you do with Nussmeier?

you forgot to mention one QB was in his fifth year as a starter, throwing to two first round draft choice receivers. Versus a QB starting his first season, with marginal receivers.
One QB was coached by a well known veteran Offensive Coordinator.
The younger QB is being coached by a young coach in first season as OC.

Nuss Buss is alive, confirmed.

Saying JD is better than Nuss and people who were on the Nuss Buss in 2022-2023 were wrong doesn't make Nuss a bad QB or anything. He's just not on a Heisman level, let alone a QB capable of a historic season like JD5. He can still be plenty good while not being that good.

Nuss is the man.....he will throw some pics, but so what, all QBs do.

His aggression is what makes him great!

His YPA needs to be a bit higher to be considered aggressive, IMHO

I remember when you use to cry about people trashing Kling or Neal. Direct quote from you:
quote:

Nah it’s just crazy how many players get completely trashed when they make a mistake

You have spent the last two days exclusively criticizing Nuss and no one else. It’s weird.

Your bullshite is like clockwork. You fell in love with Neal and got mad when people said that Milazzo should play over him. So every time Milazzo made a mistake you shite on him, but not Neal.

Same with Kling. Now you are still upset that there were people that ripped JD two years ago and anytime Nuss makes a mistake you want to shite on him.

Yeah, while I do believe we'll get to Ole Miss at 4-1, Jax Dart might pose a significant challenge for our D.

That below average qb tore us apart
No he didn't

After the first drive, he had a 75 yard run, and that was it. The rest of his time consisted of 2 turnovers and 2 sacks.

You're acting like he played terrible. Most of his passes were very accurate even when under pressure. Just about anyone would take a QB completing 60% of his passes for 285 yards and 2 TDs to 1 int. on the road in a hostile environment against an SEC team in his first true road start.

He had about 3 really dumb passes that I can remember, still backpedaled too much, and didn't pull it and run when he should have a few times, but he made the plays to help get LSU the lead late in the game. And yes, he needed the freshman running back to do what he did because our other backs weren't doing anything. Having an effective running back helps every QB open up the offense.

Agree that he’s our quarterback. But if you’re gonna defend him with such vigor, you should at least get your facts straight. He threw two bad passes into the end zone. One of them was picked off and returned for a touchdown, which was called back. So at least get your facts straight.

Not to mention the personal foul that negated one of the worst Pick 6’s I’ve ever seen.

The personal foul is what caused the interception. Had he not been being drug down by the back of his shoulder pads then that pass would have been on target

He should have never tried to make that throw with a defender all over him. That's some Will Levis shite.

The defender wasn't all over him. He was behind him and had to commit a foul to make a tackle. Nuss was perfectly in the right to make the throw. This is why commentary about "well if this then this" is stupid.

In other words it wasn't returned for a touchdown.
