re: What is this small chatter about our QB.

If that was really his qualifier he’d just compare Nuss’ numbers in his first 4 starts to others first 4 which also included games like that but his aim isn’t to judge them evenly.

Your post was before mine. In fact mine was a direct reply to yours yet you implied I brought up race. You are very bad at this.

Saying JD was better than Nuss in 2022 and 2023 isn't an example of hypocrisy.

No but the statements I referred to are. Deflecting isn’t going to work buddy.

This is explicitly a direct comparison of them that you keep lying saying you're not making. Bringing up Jayden's stats at all is an attempt to compare the two. Continuing to say 33% of Nuss' games is also an attempt to compare the two. It's like you think acting obtuse is fooling people. The very fact you're in this fricking thread is you comparing the two. You keep commenting on and on about how you aren't comparing and you're "race neutral" yet continue to comment on their stats, continue to say Nuss is worse than Jayden in 2022, continue to discuss race. I swear you have to be a troll. You're just trying to piss people off. That's literally the only explanation.

That doesn't change the fact that I didn't bring race into this thread.

I said you went very overboard with the race-based analysis. Your entire quote involves race-based analysis ("They hate white people and white players especially QB. They want black people in general and black players to be better at everything including playing the QB position.")
My analysis has been race-neutral this whole time. I've never compared players based on race, or promoted/criticized a player based on race. I don't care about race.

Trust I know. He keeps defending blatant haters and open racists while claiming the only "hate" here was ever targeted at JD and then says he never claimed anyone "hated" JD. I would say he's dense, but I think it has to be intentional.

This is explicitly not what you said and is also nonsense.

Your entire notion that JD was "hated" by valid criticism and that hate must have been "racial" and ignoring hate toward Nuss as "valid criticism" is explicitly race based logic. Both in the exaggeration of criticism of Jayden and the downplaying of hate toward Nuss. Not to mention the direct implication of Jayden critics as racist.

I'm not citing stats form 2024 to compare the players. Words have meaning.
I said
quote:
Where ITT did I discuss Nuss's stats in comparison to JD?
Stats being the critical word.
quote:
Continuing to say 33% of Nuss' games is also an attempt to compare the two.
No. I specifically said this means we should NOT compare them.
As I said explicitly
quote:
Let's let a true sample emerge
quote:
yet continue to comment on their stats,
I cited JD's 2022 stats in resopnse to a criticism of JD in 2022.
Exact quote I was responding to:
quote:
You’ve intentionally left out the ones where I went to bay for JD after he discovered the forward pass.
Nuss has nothing to do with that comment or the citation of JD's stats proving he was fine passing in 2022.
Madking is the one who tried to force that illogical digression. I have said since my initial reply to him that Nuss doesn't have a full sample yet to compare their stats, yet.
quote:
continue to say Nuss is worse than Jayden in 2022
I mean JD started. Who is arguing Nuss was better than JD in 2022? That's such an accepted widespread opinion that it's close to universality.
It's not some dig on Nuss. JD was a historic CFB quarterback. It's not fair to compare Nuss to him.

Are you implying this:
quote:
The reality is the ones bringing up race are those who were desperate for Jayden to be better simply because he was black. They hate white people and white players especially QB. They want black people in general and black players to be better at everything including playing the QB position
is valid criticism of JD?
quote:
f hate toward Nuss.
Does not exist.

Not to mention the direct implication of Jayden critics as racist.

Explain how Jayden in 2022 is better than Nuss in 2024 through the first 4 games as a starter without using stats. I'll wait.

Nobody is trying to have that discussion right now except you and Madking.
There are 2 comparisons:
JD v. Nuss in 2022
JD v. Nuss in 2023
and one argument about JD's passing in 2022.
That's it.
Posted on 9/16/24 at 11:55 am to SlowFlowPro
You literally just made the comparison while I haven’t once. You suck

Yes you did.
You replied to a post having 0% to do with Nuss with this:
quote:
You just knocked Nuss for his ypp or ypa when his is a yard better than JDs in 2022. Make it make sense,
Why did you feel the need to respond to a post having nothing to with Nuss, by directly comparing my post to Nuss in 2024?
*ETA:
The prior digression:
TaderSalad:
quote:
You’ve intentionally left out the ones where I went to bay for JD after he discovered the forward pass.
Note: nothing to do with Nuss
My response:
quote:
2022 JD had a QB rating of 144.5, 7.5 ypa, and a 5.67 TD:INT.
That was for passing, not including the almost 900 yards rushing + 11 TDs (and all the impact he had on our RBs, which we see now).
JD could pass in 2022.
Note: nothing to do with Nuss.
Your response:
quote:
You just knocked Nuss for his ypp or ypa when his is a yard better than JDs in 2022. Make it make sense,
Bringing up Nuss

I swear you are explicitly retarded. I see now you were trying to pretend that people are discussing Nuss vs Jayden in 2022 (which is invalid since Nuss didn't start). Even though every discussion on this board is comparing Nuss through his first starts to the first starts of Jayden and Burrow. Or for some idiots to those two's Heisman seasons.
And to further state the obvious you directly replied to a comment saying that Jayden was a fourth year starter during his first starts. There is literally no way to be dense enough to think anyone is discussing Nuss vs Jayden in 2022 in 2024 while discussing Nuss' first starts.

He’s already backpedaling claiming that he didn’t say things he said. When they start doing this it’s no use continuing because it’s just going to turn into a derailed mess of word games.
Posted on 9/16/24 at 11:59 am to SlowFlowPro
It had nothing to do with Nuss except you just admitted it did. Just bail, you’re embarrassing yourself.

What post?
I even added the exact digression to prove you brought up Nuss out of nowhere.
Posted on 9/16/24 at 12:00 pm to TigerKnights
I think it’s pretty obvious that Nuss has had a better start than Jayden did at LSU but it’s a big ask for Nuss to make the vast improvements and have the playmaking ability that Jayden did.

He can't. I don't know if he's a compulsive liar or just a narcissist. I think he will just keep replying forever and never acknowledge what he actually said. It's astounding.
