You brought up his ypa not me. I addressed your post about him then your later post about JD which contradicted your logic describing Nuss. Stop your BS, it’s not working.

I think it’s pretty obvious that Nuss has had a better start than Jayden did at LSU but it’s a big ask for Nuss to make the vast improvements and have the playmaking ability that Jayden did.

I don't think it is. Burrow also saw a big leap year 1 to year 2. I think based on where he is now Nuss will have Heisman expectations year 2. Assuming he returns obviously.

I am literally posting conversation digressions and all you can respond with when asked for actual evidence is some interpretation or implication

It’s his schtick, he thinks he’s so smart he can argue his way out of anything. This guy has called himself the most celebrated poster on the board in the past, he’s insane.

JD's ypa? I brought it up in response to a post about JD, not Nuss.

What does Nuss's ypa have to do with a conversation solely about JD's passing in 2022? You've yet to explain.

Not true.

You have argued my post, which had nothing to do with Nuss, involved a comparison to Nuss. That's incorrect.

I gave you 2 opportunities to explain, which you refused.

Again:

TaderSalad:

quote:

You’ve intentionally left out the ones where I went to bay for JD after he discovered the forward pass.

Note: nothing to do with Nuss

My response:

quote:

2022 JD had a QB rating of 144.5, 7.5 ypa, and a 5.67 TD:INT.

That was for passing, not including the almost 900 yards rushing + 11 TDs (and all the impact he had on our RBs, which we see now).

JD could pass in 2022.

Note: nothing to do with Nuss.

Your response:

quote:

You just knocked Nuss for his ypp or ypa when his is a yard better than JDs in 2022. Make it make sense,

Bringing up Nuss

You also brought up Nuss' earlier. And he exposed you for being a hypocrite when judging ypa stats.

The claims you're making about me or this "hate" Nuss is receiving.

You've already had one absolutely disproven (that I was first to bring up race ITT).

Through the first 3 games of each players first starting season at LSU (keeping in mind JD had started over 30 games already). From strictly a passing aspect.

Burrow:

50% Completion
3 Passing TD's
591 Passing Yards

JD:

70% Completion
6 Passing TD's (2 more running)
556 yards.

Nuss:

70% Completion
10 Passing TD's
890 Yards

In conversations having nothing to do with JD. No comparison to JD whatsoever.

And I brought up JD's ypa in 2022 in response to a comment about JD in 2002. Nothing to do with Nuss.

Madking is the one who tried to turn a comment having nothing to do with Nuss into a comparison with Nuss.

I think it's pretty clear "evidence" isn't what you care about. You (without evidence) claim their was hate toward Jayden. Again without evidence you then assume this hate is racial in origin. Yet when it comes to Nuss you describe is as "valid criticism" even though 99% of it isn't. The double standard as usual is yours.

And I didn't have anything disproven. The one who brought up race first was you before me. The one who brought it up first in the thread seems to be one of the major Nuss haters (which you deny exist) Lester Earl.

Hypocrisy with regards to how you judge ypa stats. None of this matters. Now selectively quote again.

There is that misuse "hypocrisy" again

Show me where I directly compared JD ypa in 2022 v. Nuss ypa in 2024, or even discussed it, prior to Madking creating the comparison out of thin air.

It's truly impressive what Nuss is doing and the lack of credit he's getting is shameful. He's still a young starter and will only get better as the other 2 did which is scary for our opponents.
