Against Duke with Laettner, Hurley, Grant etc. It was unreal back then. We were camping on the ramps all week for that game.

Pretty much the only good crowd game in the past 5 years. Students actually had to sit in the nosebleeds for one.

Pretty much the entire 2005-2006 season. That place was packed to the rafters to see Big Baby and Tyrus play.

Whichever year we played A&M at home was pretty crazy too. Was that '06-'07?

I totally remember that. We had a tent with 6 guys doing shifts in between classes so we wouldnt lose our spot.

Even better. My buddy was a trainer for the team at the time and he helped us connect 6 extension cords to have a madden on the sega tournament. Oh the good ol days

2000 vs #1 Arizona was the best LSU basketball game I've been to in the PMAC. Place was insane.

There were a couple good ones that year, including Auburn and Kentucky.

It was a lady Tigers basketball game in the mid 90's when they upset #1 Tennessee. One of the better LSU basketball games I've seen.

When we beat Arizona in 2000, that place was JUMPING

I was a student at the time and rushed the court after; that was a great game and it was crazy loud in there; most games that year were awesome at home with Stro and Jabari Smith killing it; Smith had that nasty dunk fake behind his back and slam that game (Arizona)

another crazy loud crowd was when Shaq and Chris beat (once again Arizona) when they were #2 - the PMAC was awesome for that one

Loudest for me was vs Zona w/ Shaq. Dude did the cabbage patch after a break away dunk! There were some loud days with Baby, Tyrus, and the boys as well. shite, it was loud w/ Bright, Roland, Swift, and Jabari against Zona too!

Back in the early 90s was best w Daddy Dale, FB was going down and you had to do something. One crazy game each ¼ of the PMAC would say L, then S , the U, then Tigers. It went around the bowl for the whole game (stopped at the ½, but then started back up). I remember Dale and players looking up at the crowd going WTF. As I recall that was an SEC regular season game. PMAC was fun 20 yrs ago but I will take the last 10 yrs of FB over the hoops and Bball teams of the 90s

1978 Kentucky. 14,551 attendance. People were sitting in the aisle in the student section.

We were the 10th tent in line, no electricity though. Those were some fun times!

I think the Kentucky game had Daddy Dale bringing us pizza thanking us for the support.

Nothing compares to the Dale Brown years, sorry youngsters

You have no idea what you missed, sorry

Unfortunately the game has changed which is why it may never get like it was back when Dale Brown was coaching... The NBA has a little bit of the blame for taking talent away too early from College ranks.

The Economy hurts crowds also, people saving money because of high Gas prices, etc....

I think that the PMAC could be rocking again, but not like when Dale Brown was there for most of the games.... There may be a game or two that brings in the crowd, but not a season unfortunately....

Yep. When Kevin Garnett went straight to the NBA it was the beginning of a big drop in excitement for college hoops. I enjoyed a few of the tiger teams since then but there really is no comparison to teams back then.
