UCONN on ESPN with Dickie V and College Gameday in 2007, I believe? Met the Schwab that night. And Tack's 3 from halfcourt before the half, people were going insane.

I hear the old people say the Loyola marymount game was the craziest

Its definitely up there. Along with UNLV in 1990 I think.

I was before my time, but I can imagine the 1978 Kentucky game, when LSU won in OT and all 5 starters fouled out had to be freaking insane.

Probably in Pete's SR year . He scored an SEC record 69 pts vs Kentucky-- I think Dan Issel scored 51. Beat them at the buzzer after all 5 starters had fouled out. Crazy day. Same day the US Hockey team beat Russia to win the Gold medal.

Really crazy.

I was at those '86 games against Purdue and MSU...

When A. Wilson's shot dropped off of the rim after the buzzer, I jumped over the banister, which was a 10' plus drop, b/c of the way the seats were arranged for the game, and ran out on the court and was hugging anyone in range. I was about 15 at the time.

I saw many other big games... Loyola MM, Arizona, and others mentioned, but those 2 games will never be forgotten.

I was an undergrad all the Shaq years. Man, I wish we could get it back to what it was.

You will have to get in the "way-back machine" for these, but here they are:

1980 Kentucky

We lost at the end with that Kyle Macy shot...but USA won! Really great game anyway.

the kentucky game we won when the starters fouled out and we won, the 86' regional games, unlv, loyola mar., neltner tip in against bama, tyrus's dunk against arkansas when grabbed the ball over the box, all the zona games here, when brady put on the santa claus hat with dickie v, tac's 3 pointer against uconn at halftime.

Led Zepplin. Packed to the rafters but by far the loudest.

In fact, it was much louder than the Rolling Stones although Pink Floyd was the best overall show I ever saw there.

No contest. LSU v. Kentucky, 1980 81?). NBC was doing the game (Enberg and McGuire), Sunday afternoon, LSU 17-0 in conference. Cookie man gets a five second call, and at the buzzer Macy drained what now would have been a three. I was on the tenth row (student section) and he was between me and the goal. When it left his hands, there was no doubt. The Deaf Dome went from the loudest I ever heard it to absolute silence.

LSU vs #1 Arizona 2002. Arizona had big plays from Andre Iguodola and Channing Frye. Luke Walton didn't make the trip, but Zona was still loaded. We were up big and held on for a close victory...

The pmac was empty for most of that year.

What have you been smoking? Sure the 05-06 season wasn't the 1990s, but come on man that place was rockin'.
