The sideline basketball goal.

Ironically the national media began this whole thing clowning us and making CLK the bad guy. Now the tune has changed and the pundits are praising our brand of football and the potential going forward. Many have said LSU is the team nobody wants to face now

CLK brought back that “IT” factor that we had between 2003 and 2011 and briefly for 2019.
We are now relevant again. We have swagger again. We have a winning culture again.

Unlike Brian Kelly this team has improved every week and players are developing when we lost DeShawn Spears it’s really hardly even noticeable the younger players are stepping up and coming on

Peace of mind knowing the team will be well prepared on offense. You know the gameplan will be tailored to the opponent's deficiencies. It seems like we've seen a new wrinkle every week.
It just refreshing to see after watching that basic shite offense from 24 & 25

This . . . It reminds me of 2001 and 2003

Aggressive offensive play planning and calling and competent players !

Discipline and attention to detail as well as swagger.

Swagger back and it looks like we won't beat ourselves.
BK's lack of attention to detail was infuriating. Lane wants to win, win now and win for a long time.

I’ve always liked The Lane Train. He did a good job at Tennessee when he was there and had them playing toe to toe with Bama. He can recruit! He is always thinking outside the box in order to gain an edge. Lastly, he has learned from some of the best to ever do it.

Big balls, talent/attitude/work ethic evaluation, and a system that’s proven.

Chemistry and a running game

Something I noticed in the last couple of weeks— if we are behind the chains (TFL, penalty, etc) we aren’t dead in the water on offense. We aren’t heaving it 60 yards with hope and miracle but methodically picking up first downs.

With Kiffin, LSU can win any time and any place.

Plenty of good answers in this thread. For me it’s the run game, particularly the ability to pick up 1st downs on 3rd and short. The last couple years were brutal in those situations.

1) An offense that is balanced week in and week out and puts pressure on the other team to keep up.
2) The best player plays, period. Also, expensive doesn't always mean "good".
3) knows how to build and run a team in this new era. Knows how to scout for long term success.
4) Is excellent at being the distraction so the team can lock in. The lead up to Clemson is a case study in that.
Only year one and I'm most excited to see what they do in the off-season with all that time to prepare.
