I’ve only watched bit and pieces of a few games this year. Is it talent, adding Bryce Neal for hitting, good fortune? Very impressive so far. I hope they are able to keep the winning ways through SEC play.

I think it's mostly just having an entire lineup of 4th/5th year seniors. It doesn't hurt that Taylor Pleasants is one of the best players in the game either. They really loaded up for this season.

They’ve got like 6 pitchers too. Deep staff, scrappy, and have been winning in different ways.

We actually hit the ball. We've been crying for years for a new hitting coach, and it looks like we were right. Problem solved.

I think it was the new staff hires combined with having a veteran team full of 5th year girls.

Fun fact, I learned two nights ago Neal coached my neighbor’s son before he got into college softball.

Combination of lots of experience (it’s literally a senior led team) and adding Bryce Neal has injected some new life into the program IMO

The Coach got into college softball obviously, not the son.

It looks like Dobson is still on staff. Was he removed as hitting coach? We've been saying for years that he's the problem.

She got stronger late in the game yesterday. I remember how Carley Hoover used to do that. The mark of a really good pitcher.
