Is there a reason that they never see the field? Or is it that 0 whiffed on a player again?

And passed on players Edgerin Cooper at A&M
I believe Ark and Miss St have some LA players LSU could have used as well that are playing significant roles at LB

Pirate King and P&G will be in here shortly to tell you how dumb you are for even suggesting that Orgeron would miss on a player.

Sampah was hurt coming out of HS, so he's about a year behind where he should be development wise due to getting over his injury.

White came in under sized, 6-0 200-210, so he has been trying to bulk up to get to SEC size. High upside, supposedly.

Coach O went out of his way to rave about both of those guys to the media every chance he could, going into their freshman year... And neither have played in their first 2 years. Makes zero sense. Either they were always garbage and he was lying for no reason, or they are good and we just refuse to play them.

White didn’t come in undersized, he was always undersized. I think that is the point of OP.

I believe White is dealing with an injury. Not sure on Sampah. He had injury issues when he got here.

The staff was really high on White coming out of HS. Too early to write him off. Especially if he's hurt.

I'd imagine a lot of the guys who haven't seen the field much will be portal bound.

Some of these guys on the roster are of the equivalent skill level of Micah Eugene, Stefoin Francois, Seth Fruge…..

Les was recruiting circles around Orgeron when it came to building roster depth. Take a look at 2010 when this was our LB room:
Kelvin Sheppard
Perry Riley
Harry Coleman
Kevin Minter
Lamin Barrow
Keke Mingo
Jacob Cutrera
Tahj Jones

And this was after a natty in 2007 followed by subpar seasons in 2008-2009. He still stacked the roster and could eval the right players.

And neither of them could consistently bring in high quality olinemen. Which is a major reason why both failed.

Yes Cooper is good. He’s making an impact at A&M as a Redshirt Freshman and has really come on the last 3 games and moved into a bigger role because of his play. 18 tackles over the last 3 games, a PBU, and QB hurries. He’s gotten better every week and their coaching staff and fan base are high on him too rightfully so.

Probably because you don't know all the facts.
Watch this video and give me your honest assessment and grade Harris' skills as a Linebacker.

LSU offered Christian as an H-back on offense. Harris was adamant about playing LB in college, a position he never played in HS. Harris was asked to camp at LSU and get evaluated at LB by Dave Aranda. He “ghosted” the staff and never showed up.

Harris played slot WR and CB in high school. He was sold on playing LB by Pete Golding at Alabama. Harris originally committed to A&M who told him he could play LB. He went on his recruiting visit to Alabama and Saban told Harris exactly what he wanted to hear ... you can play LB for the Crimson Tide. He de-committed from A&M and immediately committed to Alabama.

Christian Harris never had intentions of playing at LSU. Harris looked up to Dylan Moses who was constantly in his ear about going to Tuscaloosa and following in Moses' footsteps. When Saban offered, the deal was done.

I don't think I would consider this a whiff. They are Aranda recruits that are now being forced into a system that they aren't as good of a fit in.

So while it is certainly O's fault, I wouldn't consider them "his" players.

His PFF grade is 52.8 on the season, not particularly good. He did have a good game just recently against USC (75.2 overall grade); but the main reason he's playing more is they have a LB - Andre White Jr...who has has bee absolutely terrible. 39.0 overall grade on the season. So they want Edge playing more and more. Hansford at Lb is by far their best LBer.

Edge's biggest issue is tackling. They charted him with 8 missed tackles among 21 total tackles they gave him credit for...which...isnt a great ratio.
