What do I think? I think it looks like crap.
Stick to our fantastic basic uniform set:
-- Gold helmet ALWAYS.
-- White jerseys most of the time. Purple a few other times.
-- Gold pants ALWAYS.
THAT'S IT.

Edit: NVM it is a very small G stripe but it’s there. I agree With you
That's what makes it bad, IMHO. It looks like they literally just took the stock of stripes they use on the gold pants and sewed it on the white pants.
I don't necessarily mind the look on the gold pants as it is barely noticeable. On the white pants it's never looked right.

Well it’s wort on the white pants because the on the gold pants it is a still 2 purple and 1 white stripe and the gold looks like jsut a space between them on the gold background.

This is the best plan, by far. The only time white pants and/or helmets should be worn is in the combo with the traditional purple jersey. That combo looks sharp!
I've always thought a combo of gold helmets, purple jerseys, and white pants might work. The football team has never tried that, to my recollection.

2 different strip patterns ok. 3 is to many but I guess think about our iconic Tigers Stadium.

Why can’t we match stripes and why can’t we match the color purple? As in the really good dark purple on the helmet instead of the blue purple on the rest of the uniform?
