No

Same thought. I thought it was gonna be a cool thing to see... was honestly pretty weak and they were in that game deep into the 4th.

I remember sitting next to Tim Corbin’s wife at a Hog baseball game and she called them a crazy cult when they did it.

Don’t wear any LSU gear and you’ll be fine.

I can't remember any issues with my experience in 2016. Great place.

I can give them the WooPigSooie because I've never known a hog fan to use it in a pretentious self-delusional way. It really is just a fan appreciation thing for them.

I wouldn't prejudge a trip to Fayetteville by your experience in Little Rock. Little Rick is a nice town, but War Memorial is an absolute dump. They always stuck visiting fans in the absolute worst part of that shitehole, and from what I heard the other seats available to fans weren't much better. And traffic? You'd never complain about post game traffic out of TS again if you ever had to drive away from War Memorial.

And, truth, most Arky fans hated watching their team playing there as well. I never heard so much low-key grumbling in my life as when my co-workers - diehard Hog fans - were debating going to a game at war memorial vs. attending the JV ping-pong championship games at UALR.

That arrangement was purely political and hated by Arky fans. I'm sure there was much rejoicing in Fayetteville when that agreement was finally round-filed.

Places to eat:
Steaks: Gaskin’s in Springdale, Herman’s, Bocca or Bordino’s in FYV
BBQ: Wright’s in Johnson, Central or Whole Hog in FYV
Cajun: Cafe Rue Orleans in FYV
Pizza: Pizzaria Ruby in Johnson, MJ’s or Odd Soul in Springdale
Italian: Renzo’s in FYV, Venesian Inn or Mama Z’s in Tontitown
Thai: Thai Spice in FYV, Thai Taste in Springdale
Mexican: tons of great taquerias in Springdale and Rogers

Additionally lots of great places in Bentonville and Rogers
Tusk and Trotter, The Rail, Blu Seafood, AOI Sushi

Things to do: Crystal Bridges museum, Golfing, Dickson Street Bars, great mountain biking and walking trails.

Day of game: Dickson Street bars are probably your best option as Arkansas fans aren’t the most inviting group as it relates to their tailgates.

Hog fans can range from decent to complete assholes. They dislike LSU and most just ignore you but don’t be surprised when you get smart arse comments, especially after the game.

I live up here but I won’t put my tailgate gear up as I’d have to either pay someone to sit with it or we’d have another OT investigation on stolen or destroyed tailgate supplies.

Parking: Park near Baum, their baseball field and they have busses that shuttle you to and from the stadium.

There are areas near the stadium where people let you park in their yards for $$ Cleveland/Sunset streets north of the stadium. Fayetteville High School has paid parking south east of the stadium.

We’re just going down on Dickson and then either walking over from there or Ubering to the game.

Enjoy, FYV is a beautiful area and it’s going to be a great game!

Living in Arkansas I would say this isn’t a dumb post. Every fan base has its bad fans, but Arkansas fans always have a chip on their shoulder. They play this victim mentality.

I could walk around Baton Rouge and LSUs campus in an Arkansas shirt and not hear much of anything; and I did. You wear LSU here year round and they go out of their way to talk shite. There aren’t many fan bases out there I’d say are worse that I’ve interacted with.

yeah guy who posted that is NOT entirely wrong. the arky fans were absolute trash at war memorial for years and years.

It’s a lot longer drive vs. Little Rock. I actually enjoyed Little Rock and never found the fans all that bad. It can be very cold but we are a month earlier than historically. Weather should be perfect.

I wouldn’t rate it in the top 8-9 SEC venues. KY, VANDY,OLE MISS, SC, GA, AUBURN, BAMA, MS. STATE ARE BETTER IMO.

Get back to me when you've seen this Ark LSU game in Shreveport. I have. At the former Independence Bowl. I'd like it to be there every year. It's closer to Baton Rouge than Fayetteville, but I just think it'd be great being from Shreveport.

fricking Cold.

Other than that, a fun good time. Dickson street is right off campus and a good place to hang out before/after the game. The fans we have encountered on my two trips up there love their poor Hogs dearly, but they've been pretty good people.

Great for fans you can park lots of places for free and they have a red bus line and a silver bus line . They pick you up and drop you at the front gate FREE. After the game get on the same color you rode in on and ride back.

Arkansas fans can be great people but they do have a group of them that can be some of the most idiotic dumbasses just out of the blue and randomly.

Little Rock was the worst but some of their fans are out in left field crazy lunatics. It’s hard to explain

But yea, it will be a great trip. Lol
