It's an easy mistake to make.

No, it's not. Not after someone has corrected the "27" to "24" from a three-game series. Anyone who knows baseball would immediately understand.

fans not showing up
the team possibly under performing on the road
Sunday starter
depth in the bull pin
I'm also worried about the hitting tanking as the SEC season goes on, like last year.

Huh?

He's obviously referring to Nola having the worst ERA of the weekend starters and giving up double the number of earned runs as Eades......

You given any thought to whether or not Eades may eventually move to Fridays? My first thought is if it ain't broke don't fix it. But then again PM alluded to wanting that for Eades earlier on.

How do you see that shaking out?

How many "first" batters did LSU have in the 9th inning of the three games this past weekend?

He said Eades would have to earn it. So do we think he has earned it? Maybe we give him the ball against Kentucky on a Friday night if he does well this weekend.

Not many concerns, this is a good team.

I would like a few of the bullpen guys to stop walking so many batters.

In this case, that's a little bit like being the homeliest Playmate of the Month for this year.

What are you babbling about?

Actually, if a pitcher throws to the first hitter in the ninth inning, his outing was 8+ innings, not 9 innings. You are wrong again.

Therefore

3 nine inning games is 27 innings

He was referring only to hitting. LSU scored 22 runs in 24 innings. You don't say they batted 27 innings, unless you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Middle relief and the arms in the OF. That's about it

I see it as a concern not so much right now, but as we get into postseason baseball. We might face some great pitchers, and one of our guys will need to shut the door for 7 or 8 innings. I just hope eades or nola can do that

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
