What are the penalties/ramifications of tearing down the goal posts after a game

I, for one, was pretty embarrassed when LSU fans stormed the field in 2000 after beating a Bama team with a losing record. Yeah, I know, we hadn't beaten Bama in TS since 1969. And yeah, I went on the field too. Casually walked down after everybody else had already stormed the field.
But I'm glad to see LSU doesn't do that any more.
Ask a Bama fan the last time their fans rushed the field.

Well yeah, people storming the field can get arrested and barred from buying future tickets, plus the school would get fined. I'd like to hope they wouldn't.
