I know you said Pearson is not a good player after last at bat, but the dude made the all-regional team in his first three seasons and was gigantic in NCAA tourney play in the 2023 run. He had 3 homers (including one in the natty) and 2 triples and like 11 RBI. If we judge players by what they do in the biggest games, he is a good overall player. Very clutch.
