Georgia intentionally hiring bums because they don’t care about baseball and everyone here is talking about them like they’re the ‘27 Yankees like they don’t have UF, USCe, UTenn, & Vandy in their own division.

Wes is a friend of mine from way back so I'm certainly not going to trash him. It's obvious though that him and JJ were having issues because JJ has been making almost all the mound visits for the last few weeks. Wes looks frustrated in the dugout. I have thoughts about JJ's staff handling style but will leave that out.

Florida doesn't leave Florida. Florida State barely does.
Coastal Carolina doesn't recruit atlanta.
South Carolina is all in on the portal and the Carolinas and Clemson is going north under Bakich. They don't dip into atlanta all that much.
And it doesn't matter, there are a million guys there.
Tennessee is actually the threat in Atlanta if they want to be, but they focus more on their own state and taking guys Vandy wants.

Kendall Rogers just tweeted that they were unwilling to spend for a sitting head coach.
They settled for a journeyman pitching coach. It’s not a slight to Wes because I think he’s really good. But this isn’t a landscape shifting process or hire.
