Well now we know why Sankey won’t drop the suit

He had to know that RJ Luis was going to get another injunction that states LSU has to roster him and the SEC can’t levy any punishment. He’s wanting the homer Bama court to tell him he can do whatever he wants regardless of a Louisiana court injunction. Tony Clayton said he is suing Sankey, LSU, and Wade for not putting Lewis on the roster. He also said he expects LSU abide by the injunction or they will be held in contempt. Going to be really interesting to see what the roster looks like next Tuesday. Also Sankey has another court date Nov 13 in BR for the lawsuit but Clayton thinks he won’t have the balls to show up …. Hold the line !!

I really hope LSU does not roster this dude. I’m obviously team frick Sankey, but this shite is not worth it.

If RJ didn’t forgo his eligibility as a junior, I wouldn’t have a problem, but this case seems pretty clear cut that he’s out

Clayton argument is he never played for a professional team and there are 91 kids on rosters now from overseas on pro teams. He says Sankey just makes up the rules as he sees fit and he can’t do that. Brought up the fact that Chambliss is in his 6th year and Sankey turns a blind eye to that

While I understand this, that shouldnt change the fact that LSU is literally the only team that is being threatened for following court orders.
Think about that. Id argue the principle of us being singled out for doing what everyone else is doing trumps opinions that someone shouldnt be roster just because they think he shouldnt be.
No one gave a flying frick that Chambliss was given a bogus extra year that we all know he didnt deserve. Yet, no one threatened to have them tarred and feathered.

Clayton brought up those points as well. Said Sankey appears to have a personal vendetta against LSU and he is going to expose that during the court date

Ting I can’t understand about WW is that you would figure he would really be trying to do things above board and avoid anything or any player that could potentially invite more controversy.

This, especially when we’re a legit CFP contender. I want this team to have the fairest shot possible at navigating the gauntlet, because the eye test and numbers say it’s possible.

I think if you’re LSU, you support the kid. In this case, that means hoping he wins the injunction, which he did.
Now, do you have to roster him? Nope, but by the law, he is eligible. And the SEC is preventing him from playing, which now gives the kid grounds to sue the SEC for damages.
Again, like football, no harm done by LSU. Except maybe help a few kids make some money off the SEC. I don’t hate it if it plays out that way.

He wasn’t given anything as he’s still ruled ineligible by the NCAA. He just got an injunction to play while he waits to go to court and then won the appeal that the ncaa files that he shouldn’t get the injunction. It won’t go to court until march or so.
