Young Outdoor Bulls - I am an old man - need your suggestions as to what weather apps I need on my new iPhone.
I tried researching online but dang - info overload.
Much appreciated - for your efforts:

I use MyRadar more than anything. It can also be added to carplay/Android Auto so I can get hands free radar whilst driving.

Weather Underground app is pretty good. Their wind direction, rainfall arrival times, etc are generally pretty close. It's the only one I use.

RadarScope (paid version) - I think it's like $10-$15/year.

My most used weather app is Radar Scope. It cost me $10 somewhere around 2010.
It's only precipitation but it's a live radar view.
after that, weather channel or accuweather.

MyRadar app is my go to. I've found the weather app that comes with my Iphone more accurate and dependable than the Accuweather app. I also downloaded the Channel 9 weather app (local to the BR market) and its pretty good most days.

I use Weatherunderground for day in and day out forecasting.
I use MyRadar for real time lightning strikes.
I use WindFinder for accurate wind on the coast. Also has purdy good wave height and wave interval predictions.

Weather Channel and MyRadar are really the only two I use. I use WindAlert when I want to check wind/wave heights when fishing offshore.

RadarScope is used by meteorologists, it’s the best radar app by far.

I would not use MyRadar unless you're OK with your driving habits being sold to your auto insurance company

Apps can track
Accessing a website using a browser is safer..especially if you don't create an account and "Login"
I just find a website based weather radar that I like then create a shortcut that sits on my iPhone desktop just like an app
That being said I do use one weather radar app that is much better than MyRadar and so far it's not tracking my speed, acceleration and braking habits.
Storm Radar powered by the Weather Channel and I think its free
